My Googlefu is weak.
I want to find a place to buy a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE service manual. Not the Chilton, the actual official Toyota book. I’ve found them in the past for a Hyundai and a Saturn, so I know at least some companies sell them.

I’m trying to get a dealer to give me one when I buy the car, so I don’t want to ask them.
Why don’t you try a different dealer for the book?
Also, I’m somewhat confused. Why do you need it if you’re just going to get it with the car?
Eventually, you’ll get the grey-market CD-rom versions on eBay, but your car is probably too new for that right now. You can buy them from the dealership, but they’re usually many hundreds of dollars, so trying to get them to throw it in probably is your best bet.
You could also get a single car subscription to Alldata or Mitchell Online for relatively little until the actual factory manuals start showing up for cheaper. They’re not quite as good as the factory manuals, but are a lot better than the Haynes/Chilton/etc.
I just want to know what the value of the book is for negotiation purposes. I guess I didn’t phrase my OP very well.

You should be able to call another dealer and have them tell you the list price over the phone-- it’s usually just like ordering a part.
One thing to keep in mind though in your negotiations is that the cost to the dealer is going to be at least half of the list price and quite possibly a whole lot less on something like this.
That’s why I figured it would be a good thing to negotiate. Lots of value for me, but not much cost to them.
Anyway, I called another dealership and they sent me to Toyota USA. The cost will be $673! Zoinks. The othe two I bought have been between $100 and $150.

Just sign up for one day ($10), print the '09 Corolla manual, and you’re done.
Really Not All That Bright, that’s fantastic! Do you know if you can save the .pdf or not? With that website being available, I don’t even need the manual for now. Or I’d better not for a new car.
No clue… the last time I had a Toyota was 6 years ago.
