I am being very careful how I phrase this…Trump was scheduled to inspect his wall in Tucson, then thought it would be a good idea to have a rally at a church in Phoenix shortly afterwards.
This isn’t risky at all, despite Arizona’s infection/death rate skyrocketing because the folks at the Dream City church have come up with a new technology that kills 99% of the Coronavirus in 10 minutes.
Maybe there is hope for the country afterall!
Seems to me this was in the news a month or two ago, that this church (or some church) was announcing that they had some new spiffy air filtration that would clean the air exactly like that, so they could invite the faithful masses in to worship God as God must be worshipped. Is this the same church now?
I guess we’ll find out in about 3 weeks.

Daily new cases worldwide have steadily been on the rise, exceeding 150,000 twice in the last week, with a massive spike of 181,581 cases on 19th of June—does anybody have an idea what drove this increase? Most of the excess seems to be due to Brazil, who reported more than 50,000 cases on that date, was there a chance in reporting?
Daily new cases in the US have exceeded 30,000 on three of the last four days, for the first time since May 1st.
I think that must be the problem: I tidied up the code and the code prefers to be messy.

Israel’s IIBR finds antibody that neutralizes coronavirus
The Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) has completed a groundbreaking scientific development, identifying an antibody that neutralizes the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, according to a statement by the Defense Ministry.

Filtering the air should be a part of virus protocols. Most hospitals, airlines, and office buildings have HEPA filtration which trap most of the virus. HOWEVER, that only works on the air that is actually going through the filters. Any virus in the air will stay in the air until it happens to drift into the air handler intake vent.
Businesses which are reopening should likely ensure they have HEPA filtration and run the circulation fan continually. Typically the fan only runs when the AC or heat is on, but that means the filtration is only happening at that time. Instead, the fan should run continually so that the air is constantly being filtered regardless of whether the AC or heat is on.
You can even get your own personal air purifier for your own space to scrub the air even more. If you work in an office or cubicle, having a tabletop air purifier will help remove viruses in the air around you.
I’m certain that the air filter the church has is efficient at filtering the virus. I’m also certain that the leaders of the Dream City church don’t understand how air filtration works and are mistakenly assuming that means their church will be safe.
A lot of junk news comes out of Israel. I’m not sure why.
People might remember back in February and March, when there were Israeli reports of all kind of research milestones being hit, and of a vaccine all but completed. All of it was bunk.
In this case though, you really don’t want to be sitting next to or near to the air intake. All of the virus laden air from the venue will be sucked right past you BEFORE it goes through the filter.
There are some good case studies of people in restaurants - one person infected 6 others - all sitting “downwind” of him, near an air intake. People sitting closer to the infected person, but “upwind” did not get exposed.
From what I understand, the church isn’t bragging about a filtration system, its some sort of magic ionization thingy that can disinfect the entire building in 10 minutes. God loves them so much that folks won’t even be wearing masks at the rally.
I need to stop talking about this, I am going to slip and end up with a warning.
When I see any nation making nationalistic comments it always makes me wonder about the real truth behind the story, happens with the UK and it’s ‘world leading… whatever it happens to be’ happens with US with it’s ‘Greatest nation on earth has achieved …whatever it happens to be’ and from the referenced cite we have “Jewish creativity and ingenuity brought about this amazing achievement.” hhhmmmm, somewhat dubious.

They have a special filter installed by the Holy Sprite, uh… I mean Spirit.
They had a clip that showed a couple of representatives of the church on MSNBC last night talking about their new air system, and asked an expert to comment on it.
The first thing the expert mentioned was something I had noted as well: neither person bragging about their new air system was able to pronounce the word “ionization.” That fact alone wouldn’t give me a lot of confidence in their system.
FDA has warned that 9 hand sanitizers contain toxic methanol, which can cause blindness when absorbed through the skin.
I don’t get it. When everybody was scraping to find hand sanitizer, I thought distilleries, which usually produce vodka and what not, started making ethanol for hand sanitizer. But if you don’t denature it, they may drink it. Wikipedia says, " The main additive has traditionally been 10% methanol, methyl alcohol, giving rise to the term “methylated spirits”.
Maybe it’s just that in denatured ethanol, the amount of methanol is low enough to be safe?
