Corrupted .wav file question

Ever since my computer was “upgraded” to Windows NT from Windows 95, I have noticed that some, but not all, of my favorite sound files have been corrupted. one in particular is a simpson sound entitled “moelie.wav”. This is one of my favorites, and every time I find it out on the web, and download it (from any number of different sites), the file is always corrupted. Why would this be? Does NT and 95 interpret .wav files differently? If so, why aren’t all of my files corrupted?

Thanks,

“No, you got the wrong number. This is 9-1-2.”

The files are not corrupted, they are in a different .wav format. Two solutions are;

Download windows media player (or a suitable subsitute)

Or

Convert all your .wav files to a format compatable with the stock NT media player.

Programs for both methods can be found on any sharewqare site.

Thanks, Evil. I’ll give that a go.
