Cosplaying The Tenth Doctor

Bricker Jr wants to cosplay the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant’s version.

Does anyone have any good suggestions short of making clothes? I’d like to find a trench-type coat and a brown pin stripe suit for a 12 year old.

He already has the sonic screwdriver.

If you want to spend a bit of money, ThinkGeek sells a child-sized Tenth Doctor coat that’s quite nice.

Odd… Can’t find it. There’s an adult one for $299, but no child size I can see.

Just add that last part to a Harry Potter costume.

Huh? They’re completely different.

Ah, looks like ThinkGeek doesn’t sell it anymore. But this is the same coat, from the original source (AbbyShot–they make lots of very nice replica Who stuff). Again, though, quite pricey:

Probably not helpful, but I’d think to haunt the local Salvations Army and goodwill.

Also, has he not heard we now have a grey-headed, stylish doctor? O:)

I got my coat at Goodwill, but a trenchcoat/duster in a child size could be tricky to find. The suit, I bought online at a discount men’s suits place. Not a perfect match, thanks to the customizations the show’s tailors made, but good enough for me.
