Countdown to ROTK!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, man! Why do us west coasters always get everything last?

24 hours, 40 minutes for me.

23 hours for me. 12:01 showing.

Tonight! WOOOOO! 10 PM for ROTK, according to the theater!

Yeah, I’m doing the Trilogy thing. Why, yes, I AM a geek. But my mom (whose birthday present this is) is geekier!

32 hours, 30 minutes.

…tick. tick. tick. tick…

25 hours!! Eeeeee! The commercials are keeping me sane for the duration. Though I have this nagging fear that I’ll be in a car accident or a Nor’easter hits tomorrow morning and I’m snowed in, kept from my precciousssss.

As much as I’d like to join the party, I don’t think I can handle the geek fest at our local midnight showing. I may have to give it a few days rest before I can brave the theaters. Does that make me a bad person?

I actually came into CS to see if there was a ROTK Squeeeeeee!! thread going…I’m glad to see I’m not disappointed.

Oh…less than 24 hours for me now. I have tickets for the 11am and the 3:20pm show tomorrow. I figured I’m going to be a sobbing, blubbery mess the first time through, so I need the second viewing to pick up what I missed.

29 hours for me. My local paper gave it 4 out of 4 stars this morning…I’m so proud of my boys.

74 hours for me…

I’m seeing 10:30 Friday morning. You’d think there wouldn’t be so many freaks at 10:30 am showing, right?

…right?

Well, I think most schools are out on Friday, so you’ll probably be looking at a kiddie fest at the 10:30am showing.

11 hours and 15 minutes… I’m going to brave the 12:01 geekfest.

22 hours 40 minutes.

The 11:30 AM CST showing.

Tick…

SJ Merc? I read that review, too. I’m rethinking and maybe will head “over the hill” to see it tomorrow. Maybe fewer crowds there.

Oh, forgot about the kids.

I just have hope the experience is better than the disaster that was watching The Two Towers…

Cell phones, laser pointers, crying babies, and some 5 year old walking up and down the aisles in what appeared to be tap-dance shoes.

prays quietly

I don’t know about over there, but kids in this area don’t finish classes til Friday. PLUS, no children will want to be awake that early if they don’t have school. So I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you Eman_Bruin.

18 hours, 14 minutes to go!

24 hours for me. Have to go after work. :frowning:

21 hours, 46 minutes.

…tick. tick. tick. tick…

4 hours 20 minutes. Four teenagers in costume and me, the designated parent. I don’t know who’s more excited.

14 hours, five minutes, 42 seconds… 41 seconds… 40 seconds…

2 hours. And I snagged midnight showing tickets.

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas to the RickJays!
