It was good, I recommend it.
[SPOILER]For the first time in ages, I went to a movie. Bebop meets or exceeds all expectations but one–no naked nay-nay shots from Faye Valentine. Very close, with the bad guy slicing her top off with a knife, but not quite.
And no, okatus–she don’t wear a bra.
Beautiful animation! I was actually wishing, during the movie, that Walt Disney was still alive to see this. I’m sure he’d approve.
The background scenery was amazing! So detailed & rich. Somebody spent a lot of time on the streets doing production sketches to create this.
Exciting, and well paced for the most part. A little rough in one or two areas, but I rack that up to converting difficult ideas about religion in one culture (Japan) to a radically different culture(US).
All in all, an exciting Anime romp![/SPOILER]
