CPR class; a smackabout MMP

FCM - kitteh could be going through a phase. Smokey had a jumpy phase but it was shortlived. Maybe Taz needs a visit to the vee-ee-tee.

I’m being stalked once more. This time, by bunnies. Bunnies, bunnies everywhere, as far as the eye can see.

Be vewy quiet! BBBobbio is huntin’ wabbit!

Spaz great news re your cousin! YAY!!!

And good news on one side is balanced out by the other side…

Night Audit Lady’s been having the runs for the last two weeks. She finally went to the doctor last Thursday (about time–I was about to get a posse after her) and they took some samples for testing. She got the results back today: positive for blood. She’s got a colonoscopy scheduled and hopefully they’ll find out where the blood is coming from. (Inside her yes, but specifics are needed!)

In other blood at work news, Big Boss came in this morning all freaked out because he found A TICK on his stomach in the shower this morning. I told him if I have nightmares about A TICK I’m calling him in the middle of the night and waking him up.

Red Robin made supper. We got the new TV installed in the bedroom, but taking down the old bracket left a mess on the wall - oh well…

I’ve been seeing lots of bunnies also - both around the neighborhood and at work. It’s an invasion!!!

Time for shower and beddy-bye. MWAH!

I’m so sorry…

Oh, yeah, Swampy…I’m in Lee County, just down from the Long Bridge that used to be one way. Either Mechanicsville or Salem, depending on which map you look at.

Went out for a smoke a found a doe grazing in the front yard. I’m gonna hate it when this place sells but at the price my in-laws are asking that’s not gonna happen soon.

Poor kitteh’s left ear is almost transparent from abrasion, and he’s missing a canine tooth where he was thrown out. Vet visit tomorrow or Thursday, whenever someone will come up so I can go into town. Weekdays (and nighs) are when we are usually hit. I would be perfectly happy if only I had a decent internet connection up here…

It’s hot, but I have not melted. Yet. I’m having saag paneer and naan for dinner. It’s yummy. Tisiphone is very happy with the heat, since she doesn’t have to spend most of the day on the furnace grate.

FCM, Lakeisha started acting like that when she had a detached retina from high blood pressure. Cats are weird, but it might be worth having the vet take a look.

Blurf. That is all.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of only 97 and a thirty percent chance of rain. No breath holdin’ shall be done however.

Snakes I’ve had quite a few [del]drunken debaucheries[/del] good times up at the “back waters.” Younger more rednecky days, what can I say.

BBBobbio I agree. “Red Robin… YUCK!” For those of you who have never seen a Red Robin teevee commercial, their tagline is “Red Robin… YUM!” Needless to say I do not agree. Way overpriced hamburgers INMNSHO.

Have I mentioned the Vestry is meetin’ with our Bishop tomorrow night? He’ll be in town to do some ummm… Bishopin’ and will be at St. Pat’s on Sunday for his annual visit. This is dinner at a country club that serves overpriced and at best mediocre food and I do not want to go. I’m considerin’ just showin’ up later to meet and greet rather than showin’ up to eat because, well, YUCK! However, it is sorta kinda obligatory. I just don’t wanna drop twenty five bucks or so on sump’n I know won’t be good. I’m cheap like that.

Ok, time to in search of more caffiene and brekkie. Then, alas, work purtification must commence.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

: checks in : It’s hot, there was smoke all day yesterday, and the a/c at work has been on the fritz for 17 days. I can haz lottery win?

It’s pouring down raining!!!

::does happy dance::

I got into the office just before it let loose. Hallelujah and praise Jebus! We need this soooo badly.

I couldn’t remember what it was called… that’s right, rain! Good timing, what with water rationing and forest fires burning up area homes.

Now come the flash floods, I betcha… :stuck_out_tongue:

We don’t do things half-assed around here.

FCM, we’ve only recently gotten a cat for the first time in my adult life, and I’m just convinced they’re crazy. As a species. I’m surprised you were able to knit around your cat; I can’t even touch yarn without my cat going insane.

swampy, ACBOYKW is still around? Y’all are gonna make me die alone, I swear! :stuck_out_tongue:

Everyone who is getting rain hooray for rain! Yesterday it threatened to rain here and as such, wasn’t in the mid-upper 90’s. Hopefully we’ll actually get some rain today.

Yesterday was uneventful. Took another nap after work, made "meat"loaf, mashed NOT (do we still do that too?) and some gravy.

And I think my second job hunt has come to an abrupt end - I had looked for and applied for jobs everywhere, discovered TSA agents start out at more than I’m making here and should be super-easy and air-conditioned. I think I failed the credit check, but they won’t tell me. I’ll get a letter in the next 14 days.

OF COURSE MY CREDIT IS AWFUL AND I OWE PEOPLE MONEY THAT’S WHY I’M LOOKING FOR A SECOND JOB!!

::pant pant::

True that! Texans are known for whole-assedness. :stuck_out_tongue:

donkeybear please! We’re together cause we’re to onery for anybody else to put up with.

ITS BOBBIO SEASON!!!

Burgers and breakfasts should always be cooked at some place with three or less locations where most of the folks there know the “chef” by first name. Other than that its all freakin McDonalds or Burger King. Dress it up however you want, that’s all it will ever be.

I’ve finally remembered to take the wrapping paper to work. I bought a baby bumper jumper for a co-worker’s baby shower (in another office), and it’s been sitting in my cube all week with my co-workers giving me crap about it. Whatever I can do to amuse my co-workers…:dubious:

Speaking of work, my boss has gone from not committing to talking about next month to talking about what’s going to happen next year, so I guess I still have a job for a while.

No time to even skim. Perhaps later.

We had a Twister Warning last night complete with sirens. The boy cats were captured and in carriers with us in the basement. Evil Fat Scarlett would not be captured and would have gone away with Dorothy if the house got floated to Oz.

BOOM!

That was taken from my backdoor last night. We had a real dish-rattler, and I’m amazed that nothing in the neighborhood was damaged and that we did not lose power. Needless to say, the dog was not impressed.

That little loop-de-loop is pretty wild.
