Lately I’ve had to use my phone as a tether because I’ve been in Internet-challenged areas.
So, I go through the following process.
- Connect via USB
- Start Applications
- File Explorer
- Up from My Documents to root directory
- Open Windows
- Hit L twice to skip past some stuff and get down the file list
- Hit up a bunch of times to get to “Internet Connection Sharing”
- Start Internet Connection Sharing
- Press “Connect”
Surely there has to be some way I can create a shortcut to cut out steps 3-7, right?

I found this on the Cingular Answer Center:
ETA: When I tried it, instead of steps 10-12, I just right-clicked on the Start Menu folder and did paste.
