Ok not really. I think Town is more or less done at this point, it’s just a question of who ends up winning between the Sinners and BHs.

Actually, I don’t think the Sinners have a chance, given that, first, nobody claimed to have been Sinfected this latest round (either they’ve lost that power, they tried to target AllWalker, or their target just kept mum), second, they’ve lost presumably one of their more important roles, and third, peeker is probably the Scum’s number 1 target right now (the Blackhearts fear the Sinners too, after all, and Meeko, despite being a known Townie, is probably worth more to them alive than dead at this point).
Possibly right. I was miscounting something, though it really depends on the blackhearts target priorities.

Mahaloth following Meeko’s lead right now is so amazingly scummy. In a normal game, following a confirmed Town Mason’s lead is a good thing, but Meeko has amply demostrated that he’s having issues with following the game. It’s such an easy way to find a townie to mislynch, just like yesterDay.

Just an FYI for the future. I really like it when a cop says who they investigated, when, and to what effect on their play. Other than that, you could have built a more proactive case against rystro’s doctor claim as the day wore on. Meeko’s insanity put you too much on the defensive.
I think town has more or less given up, there should have been much more debate with over your claim. for some reason people were unusually willing to follow the herd on this one. Perhaps it all comes down to not wanting to argue with meeko.
Fair enough. This is my second Mafia game, and my first I was VT. I played this badly, that is for sure, though I see that this thread was at least open to the idea that I was Town. And that Meeko is batshit insane.
And I probably should have gone on the offensive against Rysto, but I got addicted to arguing with Meeko. That was why I was so aggressive to him - I had pretty much written myself off as a lost cause, and wanted him to dig himself deeper and deeper into his argument. Not the most proTown play but hey, it was fun in a perverse way.
But I couldn’t help but think that if Tel and Chronos were still alive, it would have gone a lot smoother. Oh well, we all learned something*, and had fun while doing it.
*I see Meeko is blaming me for not editing my PM to include “You are Town”. So maybe we didn’t all learn something
I remember giving up on meeko a while back, and that was even before he could have become sinfected if he has.
I have to hope he was sinfected and accepted the sinner win condition and his actions are done solely to seed confusion and ride his ‘mason’ claim to victory.
But, I’m afraid that he just still doesn’t understand the basic concept of the game and is just doing his own odd, insane thing

Good, sane, town players tend to die early. For example, there is a reason why Ed is in here and meeko is still playing. 
Speaking of meeko, he’s still at it.
Thinking some more, I don’t think there’s any reason to assume that Meeko is Sinfected. Yes, he’s playing for a Town loss, but he’s also playing for a Sinner loss. The only people who benefit from confusion at this point are the Blackhearts, and we know that he’s not one of those. Therefore, we can conclude that he’s just playing irrationally, and any conclusion drawn from the assumption that he’s playing rationally is therefore invalid.
Does meeko really think there were but 1 or 2 Blackhearts?
I think you are asking the wrong question:
Paul’s eloquent defense of Allwalker tonight makes me worry slightly, in that it comes after Allwalker is dead rather than when it could have made a difference. Could just be that he was reluctant to advocate for a potentially guilty man. Might be worth a thought over the coming days.
I think paul has taken over my role as target of insane and confusing wrath.
I hope he handles it well.
And yes, Meeko seems to think a plausible breakdown of the game is 6-1-1 T-BH-S. How that works is beyond me.
Now, I have to wonder about paulMC. If he is Scum, that would explain why he defended me - after all, he would have known I was innocent - but I kind of hope he is Town. He does speak a lot of sense. On preview I see Tel has commented on it - he did vote for Rysto, and backed me up on a few points, which I was grateful for. I was desperate for a friend in there :).

So, you were so upset with Meeko, that you just handed him exactly the outcome that he was playing for? Yes, I know that circumstances were somewhat stacked against Town, but that’s no reason not to keep trying.

This game actually wasn’t that complicated, from everything that has been revealed thus far. And non-standardized role PMs are not uncommon. So, really, you’re complaining about nothing. The biggest problem this game was the refuse of certain players (Meeko most notably) to play the f-ing game. Hardly the mod’s fault.
I think that bailing like this is really bad form. The game was set up for a bloody, complicated, and potential cool endgame. Town might even have had a chance, depending on exactly what was going on with the sinners.
He can’t be BH because he was in a masonry with Ed who flipped town… So unless this game is gastard then he has to be town… but his actions show that he must have been sinfected.
So I guess I did hand him one less pure person in the game. But at this point… with the mess that this game is… broken mechanics… nonstandard role PMs… partial reveals on death… I won’t understand who is who and what is going on until one of the scum factions win and the setup is revealed… so where is the fun in playing? I’m not gonna play in a game that isn’t fun.
