Oh boy, I hesitate to come into this thread so late, but my fiancee and I decided not to have sex for an entire 4 months before the wedding. (which is coming up in a couple of weeks)
Judging from previous comments some will see this as shocking, hypocritical, against nature, etc…
Perhaps my sex drive isn’t quite as, uh, demanding as some peoples. I think it will make post-marital sex a little more meaningful and anticipation can be a good thing in and of itself.
We are also planning on trying to have children right away and this prevented any pre-wedding oopsies.
Obviously we had agreement between the two of us beforehand.
Folly, the key point is that you decided it together. The problem many of us were having with the OP was that we read it as a unilateral move.
