2 December and predicted high of 83f 28c, now I know I live on Texas but really? We can’t even build a fire at the bar, at least I am 50+feet 15.25m above sea level so I am safe for a few years from the dreaded waterocolypse. Is too a word
I highly recommend a yard sign " Inlaws and other trespassers may be shot on sight" but again I am not married and this is Texas so I can get away with it. Is too a valid defense

heh - we went to breakfast in Leonardtown this morning, and just off the main square, there’s a Nativity scene, guarded by Santa and a snowman, which made us wonder - just how much snow does Bethlehem get in December? It went downhill from there, with **FCD **suggesting they need to have some half-buried bombs as part of the tableau… :eek: Yeah, he can be a sicko.
We’ve been up and about for a while - breakfast, grocery stop, laundry, and a few other things. I’ve ordered one gift for our daughter, and I’m about to look for another. I was also thinking about baking some cookies to take to Ocala with us, but I won’t bake today - maybe next weekend.

I’m catching a code.
My throat is scratchy, my ears are itchy, my nose is stuffy and runny, my eyes are watery, my cheekbones hurt, my gums itch, my teeth hurt and I’m coughing.
I don’t want the damn thing so I don’t know why I have to catch it.
Why do we catch colds anyway, we don’t catch them, they sneak up behind us and attack us when we are unaware.
I’m supposed to help my homeless friend today, great, I’ll probably make him sick.
Damn little (although some years there could be a dusting on the ground) – and I laughed my ass off at the suggestion… 
To be fair Mr. Apes is a doll and doesn’t like the way his mom talks to others either. He has been a buffer between her and me, and I think it’s kept me sane this visit so far. She is leaving tomorrow!
Apes offer to help her pack now and suggest she wait outside for her ride so she won’t be late tomorrow.
mmmmmms I said I should begin to think about the possibility of shoppin’. Not that it will take that long, I just don’t wanna.
Today I have deheathenated, brunched and napped. I got two names off the givin’ tree at the church house, a little girl age two who wants a doll and a little boy age four who wants any kind of ball or a glove. I always like to get a gift for a girl and a boy each year. These are kids who are bein’ raised by their grandmothers.
Thus is Sunday at da cave.

I wish I had gotten wonton soup. That always feels good on a scratchy throat. Egg rolls to clear the nose and wonton to soothe the throat.
I’d think egg rolls would work better to plug your nose, if they fit, that is, but whatever floats yer boat.
We’ve had people start us off on Sunday evening - heck, our Mumpers across the pond make that legitimate - it’ll be Monday in England in a a few hours.
