Goddamn cop rammed his car into me and suddenly I got a wanted star. The city does seem a bit more crowded though. I’m not sure how the skills work. I’ve gotten my Body to an 8 but I don’t have the option of buying skill perks save the ones at the very bottom.
Look at the very left of the skill tree screen and you’ll see the minimum stat needed for the next tier of skills.
You need to build up. Max out a main skill and you can unlock the main skill in the next tier above. You can also invest in minor skills to the sides of the main skill on the same tier. It’s like climbing a tree; you have to go up the trunk but you can grab the branches to the side. And some skills require unlocking skills from adjoining trunks if they are between them.
I mentioned this before: you knock someone out, and there are these conveniently placed boxes or skips all over the place to dump them. However, the game seems to count it as killing them if you do so.
It’s almost as if it’s dangerous to leave an unconscious person in a refrigerator.
Writing on the side of some dumpsters implies they are basically giant trash compactors
I found one that says “POWER MUST BE OFF BEFORE LOADING AND REMOVING BLADES” ![]()
Have they actually removed some non-lethal options with the 2.0 update? I thought I noticed more non-lethal weapon options before. I’ve resorted to using the ‘Overheat’ quickhack to finish off Cyberpsychos, in lieu of anything else.

That seems risky; any DOT can potentially damage them after they’re down which will kill them. I use short circuit. As long as they don’t have a DOT on them and they are close to death it reliably knocks them out from a distance and has made it easy not to tick off Regina.

Car trunks seem deadly too; I must not have put enough bullet holes in them first.

If you put the bullet holes in them afterwards, they’re especially dangerous.
I’m playing for the first time. Can someone give me a rough idea of how far I am in the main storyline? I finished the mission where you kidnap the Arasaka daughter at the parade.
Pretty close. The main storyline is very short, much of the game is sidequests and the large companion storylines.
Youll get a “point of no return” warning when you’re about to finish the game, so it won’t sneak up on you.

Yes, quite close. The game’s core story is brief compared to what I think we expected.
How long is the DLC/expansion compared to the main game? I heard it is quite long.

35–40% as long?

Pretty good, especially once the entire package is sold for under $30 or so. It would be hard to match the two major expansions to Witcher 3, which were so massive.

They didn’t even try. Actually the opposite. I remember an interview with CDPR when the game was first launching where they said most of their players never actually finished Witcher 3, so their godl was a tighter story with higher overall completion rates.

I do remember that and I think they did it. I do wish Cyberpunk was a better game(I played the main game only about 3 months after release). I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure it made a huge impact for me looking back on it. Very impressive in some areas, but lacking in…impact. Only word I can think of. I’d buy the sequel one day, especially if reviews are solid.
I ran across this video today and found it interesting.
It shows improvements from release to version 2.0. They are mostly minor things, like realistic tires and better water physics, but they are things I never noticed before. There’s quite a bit. It’s not a long video either, less than 10 minutes. If anyone wants to review the little fixes they’ve made here and there, give it a look.
I’m experiencing more glitches with this new patch than I did on launch day. I’ll drive to a location, like Delamain’s HQ, and it might take 30 seconds or so before the area loads. i.e. Suddenly people appear as if beamed in. I’ve gone to places to suddenly find myself surrounded by gangers or cops with the little “We’re noticing you” eyes popping up above them.
