Outside is correct, Thoroncir, Renee, Brin, Mulligan, Theogrim & Deor are in room 7. Moose and the Huge Spider are outside the entrance where you entered (room 1 and the stairs.)
Just to clarify for the slow student…
We chased the spider back into 7, where it went down the hole. Renee is suggesting that it came up out of 6 and escaped outside? Well, escaped for a brief second until it met Moose…

Side note: As the ref, I desperately wanted to get this last little bit done. It took longer than I thought. I expected the party to confront the Huge spider in strength and eliminate it before sending some after the 3 escaping orcs.
If the Spider had known Moose was out there, it would have been more dangerous. I was happy Ghân thought to use the Faerie Fire, he learned something important about these offspring of Shelob, the last child of Ungoliant.

I’ve heard of talking spiders. I just never believed it. The veterans were always playing jokes on the newbs. Plus, I think I mentioned earlier, I had avoided bug hunts during my stint. Mostly goblins and small wargs, some orcs, only a couple of Uruk-hai.

Ghân is feeling a bit sad, since the mission appears to be to kill all evil, even if it surrenders.
No doubt once we’ve finished the current orc opponents, we need to track down every baby spider and squash them.
Personally Gwaelur doesn’t care about the spiders. He would be just as happy to leave them be and go after more orcs, maybe take down an HK or two.
Well if the party can’t make a deal with one crippled spider, we presumably can’t allow a hundred small ones to grow up…

Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know that I am leaving for vacation this evening. I will be around for the next 8 hours or so, but after that I am going to (likely) be without any sort of net connection until a week from Monday.
