Daikon (Japanese Radish) recipe wanted!

I was in Isetan in Shinjuku recently, and in the basement I had the most delicious Daikon dish I have ever tried.

It was basically braised radish, carrot, french beans, and I think a bit of thinly sliced beef. But the flavour! It was slightly sweet and salty, not like simple soy sauce. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? And does anyone have any good recipes to share?
