Since the original flaming thread has sunk below radar, I’m opening a new one.
I opened a thread here in the Pit about a post from Dale the Bold.
I should not have done so.
I should not have trotted out stale and inappropriate insults.
While I continue to hold that Dale’s remarks were poorly and insultingly phrased, it was foolish, petty, and mean-spirited of me to respond with a flame. I have no reasonable excuses.
I humbly apologize to you, Dale, and to every Doper.

Apology accepted. I, too, must apologize for hostile retaliation and for not being clear upfront. I will certainly try to clarify my points a little more in future posts. I didn’t realize how this board could be a mine field, so I must move more carefully. I’ll try to remember to use tags and proper emphasis to separate serious statements from silly rabbitness.
