Dallas Dopefest!

So, We’ve been talking Dopefests, and it seems that not everybody can meet up as easily on the same weekend. As such, Ringo was cool enough to give me a great suggestion.

We’re holding back to back Dopefests this year, with the first being on May 14th in Austin, and the second being May 21st in Dallas. I’ve never really spent any time in Dallas, so I’m not sure what exactly there is to do there. If someone else would like to suggest some meeting places for that saturday, it’d be much appreciated.

By an amazing coincidence, I live here in Dallas (Euless, actually), but will be in Austin on 21-APR-2005 to attend my brother’s graduation from that… other school they have there.

Otherwise, I’d go.

Yeah, y’all need to find a place so that I can see if it’s possible for me to trek on up to Dallas for the schindig. Cuz, ya know, if y’all go to church to pray or somethin’, you can count me out. (hey, it could happen.)

Yes, that’s what I meant. Serves me right for looking at my desk calendar to figure these things out.

I’ve got two college graduations (brother and cousin) and a 10 year high school reunion (wife) to attend next month, so I’m just about booked.

Maybe some other time…

It’s still on. Someone from Dallas just has to choose a place, then we can get rolling. So, someone, pick somewhere!

Zyada and I are in, but I’m still pretty new here in DFW and have no idea where to meet. FinnAgain, pick a place! We’re in Bedford, so of course somewhere nearby is best. :wink:

Would you be kind enough to look through those places and choose one? Trinity’s irish pub sounds cool to me, but I don’t really know Dallas that well. I’m more than willing to hop along for a drive though. If Trinity’s is acceptable, maybe we can post a link and driving directions?
