The new season of Damages starts Wednesday, and here is the Hollywood Reporter gushing review.
Starring Glen Close, this is a fantastic series and I cannot wait to see it start up again.
If you like fast-paced, well-written storylines with lots of twists and turns, you ought to like this show a lot! Glen Close is the proverbial bitch-on-wheels, and just watching her in action is worth tuning in!
Cheers to see a key player from last season is returning. (Everybody knows his name. ;)) I’m also glad to see Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) has been added to the cast. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
I heartily agree. Last season this show had me on the edge of my seat, waiting on pins and needles for the next episode. This is how good drama is done. I can’t imagine that they can outdo season one, but I sure hope it comes close(no pun).
My only regret is that Jello Ihaveaneck is not going to be among the cast. I love him.
Ever since I got a DVR, I’ve tried to keep up on worthwhile shows to tape, and I’d never even heard of Damages until the past week when I read the glowing reviews in the local paper (“Better than Mad Men!”). I’m definitely going to give it a try.
You missed season one, but my guess is that they will do a quick scenario to catch you up on the events to that point.
Just sit back and enjoy the ride!
Damn, that was good. Its gonna be fun figuring out what evil corporate scheme Patty and her frenemy stumbled on and how it’ll interfere with her getting set up by the feds. Very nice to see some character development in the evil millionaire, though it may have just been the pain killers. I watched the first season and liked it, but then the shows charm sort of wore off on me, so I was having doubts about watching this season, but its gonna be great!
It flashes back and forth again. It started out with a weirdly lit scene in the future and then faded to black and it said “6 months earlier” on the screen.
