I have reduced my net fix a bit, and I don’t usually go to MPISM very much, thus, I keep missing Houdopes. Maybe I can get on Ringo’s mailing list or something. The last time I got word of one it was being planned at the Alamo Draft House. That was likely a couple of get-togethers ago.
No need to do it immediately, but lets get the ball rolling. I don’t know how the Alamo Draft House one went, but I am more interested in conversation over a couple of beers and food rather than a movie.

Well, I’m in the area from April 7th to the 28th. That first weekend, the 10th & 11th, is Easter–and I’m sure there’s a few of us that will be busy with family and what-not. That leaves the rest of the time I’m here pretty much available. My husband, better known as JustPlainBryan will be coming in on the 24th, so we’d have one more for the party if we have it then.
I’m out there visiting family, and my father might make plans without me knowing–so I’m hoping to try and get possible times and dates known so I can head him off at the pass.
As for places… well, I’m not at all familiar with the area. I’ll just have to trust all of you to pick a good one.

I know I started the thread, but I am still planning April. I will be out of town the Weekend of April 3, 10, maybe the 17 (or the 24). Once I get set on my plans, I will help set a date.
I just subscribed. So if I do not see “Charter Member” by my name, I’m gonna be pissed.
There is not much chance I can make it ( I am taking care of my Mom) and it seems I will be for some time) . But the LIONsob can go if he wants , I’ll trust JavaMaven etal to keep him honest. Drink one for me guys and have fun.
