Ok, so my little sister is getting married in two weeks and my parents would like to dance to “their” song at the wedding. The song in question is “Watching the River Run,” by Loggins and Messina. Here’s a snippet courtesy of Best Buy. (Link. You need Windows Media Player or something similar, it’s track number 6.)
Anyway, I was hoping that some dopers out there would know what kind of dance would go with this song. I can swing a bit (Lindy and East coast), but the “ONE two three FOUR five six” beat doesn’t lend itself well to swing. I think maybe a waltz? They just want to be able to go out onto the floor, cut a bit of rug, and look cool in the process.
