Val is great, I thought he and Elizabeth did a nice Quickstep, and I loved the Hallowe’en Themed team dance, cool to highlight Bill. I found it much more entertaining than the Fox drill team, and gawd awful music. I saw the video for that to get a sense of the music and I was shocked at how much it looked like the video. Didn’t care for the fur costumes either, was that supposed to be some trippy acid vision? I thought Derek told Mark he’d never dress celebrities in animal costumes after Mark did the Gorilla dance with Bristol Palin a few seasons back.
A pretty good episode. I wasn’t too surprised that Bill survived another round. He has a big fan base. Usually I think he improves every week but this week I didn’t see any.
He’s a lot better than he was, but he’s not as good as the others.
Glad Jack and Bill made it through for another week. I enjoy seeing them improve week after week. Leah has really relaxed and seems to be improving. She looked so pretty tonight waltzing with Tony. I know these three probably won’t make the final. But they keep the show fun and interesting for me.
I’m not sure whats up with Val and Liz. Bruno was right in saying the choreography wasn’t very good. Thats very unusual for Val. He usually creates such beautiful dances for his partners.
I wish Amber would get eliminated. She’s just destroying both her knees. A cheesy dance show isn’t worth years of pain.
I love Cher. I love her songs. I’m inspired to go find and buy a good greatest hits album.
But she was worthless as a judge.

But if you’re going to replace Len, it has to be an over-the-top person.
Elizabeth seems more and more insane every week.
I know it’s thanks to plastic surgery, but damn, Cher looks awesome for her age.
The voters are really supporting the underdogs this season. Never expected to see Leah, Jack, and Bill in the semifinals. Leah and Jack have improved steadily week by week. Bill has pretty much stayed the same. This week’s dances were some of his weaker ones.
I’m not understanding the judge’s love for Corbin. I just don’t like his dances. The jazz and waltz this week weren’t that good. imho but the judges just seemed to go nuts for them.
Sad to Liz go. She paid the price for last weeks weak dance. The conflict in her rehearsals with Val has been a downer too.
The “We’re Not Gonna Take It” dance was great fun. And I’m continuing to love watching Jack dance.
I don’t know if it’s just my somewhat irrational dislike of Corbin, but his jazz dance didn’t do it for me. It was a perfectly good dance, but it didn’t go with that song at all. Of course, he got screwed in his waltz when they changed the time signature for the song to make it a really badly paced waltz.
I like Corbin’s dancing a lot. He moves his whole body when he dances, I do agree that his waltz didn’t have enough up & down, but I thought his Jazz number was fantastic.
I loved the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” number. It was fun and clever. It seems to me that Leah has lost a good bit of weight this season.
Bill’s appealing, and I know he likes the character dances, but it’s getting a little old.
I was disappointed in Amber tonight. She may be ready for a mercy kill.

Add me to the Corbin fan club. I thought the jazz number was terrific. One thing to remember is that the judges really are seeing things differently from the TV audience.
They see the dances from the same perspective for the entire number. On TV you see a multi-camera version with various close-ups. It strikes me that things that might look dramatic on TV- a dancer’s sudden turn to face the camera - look completely different to the judges.
That’s one of my beefs with competition shows like this. I would rather see the entire performance from a whole stage perspective. No reaction shots of the audience, I’M the freakin audience! No cuts or zooms or reverse views. Just show me the performance as tho I were there.
Every competition for anything I’ve ever seen on TV, from cheerleading, to dancing, to magic acts and dog shows… all do this annoying DRAMATIC crap.
At least they aren’t doing Shakey-Cam.
Agreed, but he gets a lot of mileage out of his personality, too. It’s infectious.
New-timer, here. Have only watched a few times, but I’ve noticed that I can predict, with almost 100% certainty what the judges scores will be. Even before I hear their comments.
Also, does Val ever miss an opportunity to take off his shirt? WTF is up with that? Still, hard to see how they could score 3 10s and then get voted out. Bill is pretty bad. Is he just an audience fav or something?
Liz Berkley needs a mirrorball award for scary eyes. I can’t recall anyone with such sharp, piercing eyes. They’re like two laser beams or something.
I’ll miss her in the finals. She was one of the top dancers. She had a off week last week. I guess that was enough to cost her the popular vote.
Bill is really struggling with the 2 dances a week requirement. His once a week dances were fun. Not great but acceptable. This week it was obvious he was under rehearsed. Two dances a week is very tough for an amateur.
Elisabeth is a great dancer, but she annoys me a bit. Is it just me, or does she seriously want to have sex with Val? Not that I blame her, but geez, her husband is RIGHT there!
I wouldn’t mind seeing the last of Amber, but I love Derek, so I’m torn.
Corbin is great, but I don’t know that it’s fair to call him an amateur.
Bill is becoming tiresome.
Bill is definitely past his peak.
As for the other good dancers going home, it seems that their attitudes might have had something to do with it. Personally, I find Elizabeth very annoying. I like that Val had her “shut up and listen” for the rehearsals this week.
Bill is waaaaay past his expiration date, but he’s got the viewer votes to keep winning. That has to be making everyone on the show very nervous. If he gets in the finals while being at the bottom of the leader board - oooooohhhhh. Very scary!!!
Maks will guest judge next week.
I guess that explains why Val didn’t bring him in for a three some with Liz? I cant recall who Val picked. Glug, Gleb or Glurg? An odd G name. It was some troupe member we rarely see? It would have been awkward for Maks to dance this week and judge the cast next week.
Wow, Bill’s fans keep pushing him through when he should have been gone weeks ago. I’m not complaining, though, since Emma’s outfits keep getting smaller and smaller. 
Amber is very good and Derek’s choreography is unmatched, but Corbin is the better dancer. I have no idea which one is likely to get more votes. I’d guess Amber is higher profile, because Glee.
Jack is perhaps the ‘most improved.’ He *should *land in third place, but with Bill’s apparent popularity who knows how it will all turn out. I agreed with Kari Ann that Cheryl was really great. 
Does Bill have a bunch of fans or are there a bunch of voters who like watching train wreks? I wanted Leah and Tony to go on. I am so pissed off. I haven’t seen so many votes for someone so untalented since Bristol was on.
Not that I’m actually voting, but I don’t mind seeing Emma in tight, skimpy outfits every week.
