I think Jerry should be exiting tonight, thank OG, unless his vicious fans vote him in. In that case, I’m sad to say I think Monique will be Aufed.
I find myself smiling through Emmitt’s performances. Watching him makes me happy. I really love Mario and think he should win. . . and I really don’t think Emmitt is as good a dancer as Mario. . . but Emmitt makes me happy! Go figure!
From the little I’ve seen, I think the difference is you expect Mario to be good. Emmit is a total surprise. Plus, he looks so pleased while he’s dancing.
He definitely seems to be having the most fun – he’s the only one (including pros) whose smile looks genuine. That’s why I keep voting for him.
Results show is over on the east coast. Let me just say – thank god!

He surprised me during this show - I think he suprised a ton of people. And I liked seeing him waltz. But yay.
I just started watching DWTS this week, after seeing video clips of some of Emmitt’s dances. Frankly, as an avid Dallas fan, I fully expected Emmitt to suck. I’ve noticed before that talent and grace on an athletic field doesn’t really seem to translate into ability on the dance floor.
Boy, was I wrong! He’s light, graceful, and most definitely HOT!! The waltz was just beautiful! And the mambo–wowwee!! Sizzling!
And yes, part of the appeal is that grin. When someone is having that much fun dancing, it makes the dance look that much better! (Plus, it’s SO sexy! 
)
Okay, we’re down to four.
Will the finals involve three couples, like last season, or two, like the first season? Who gets knocked out next, Joey or Monique, will depend on how they dance next week – neither one has a built-in fan base that will affect the voting. Regardless, Emmitt and Mario are good for the finals.
I’m thinking Emmitt might win it all.

I almost don’t care who wins at this point; they’re all good and they’re all worthy contestants. My brain tells me Mario, but my heart tells me Emmitt!
Anybody know which dances will be on the schedule next week? Or will it be the Ballroom and the Latin dances of choice?
Okay – Muzak version of “Sympathy for the Devil,” a chick in a corset doing a paso doble with a bald guy … gets my nomination for the most surreal moment this season.
Hey, well most of the costumes were pretty cool.
I think Joey and Edy get props for managing to tease a servicable tango out of the “Addams Family” theme, and Edy’s costume for their paso doble gets my vote for hottest in the history of the series, if not the dance itself. Len, that raging perv, obviously loved the outfit even if he gave 'em an 8 for the dance. Well, everybody else did too, looks like.
But what was up with him (Len) and his scoring? After Mario’s samba, I wrote “10!” down on my little notepad, then circled it, then underlined it twice. OK, so he didn’t dance in the hold as much as Len liked. His waltz seemed a bit dry, too.
Liked Emmitt/Cheryl’s foxtrot better than the judges did. Didn’t like their rumba as much as the judges did. Am I way off base here?
Lastly, sorry to say, but Monique looks to be toast. Way too stiff on the first number, hideous music (yeah, not their fault), too many missteps, and Louie gets one point deducted for the Elvis sideburns. Too bad, cause she’s got a pretty nice personality.

But it wouldn’t be “Dancing with the Stars” if I didn’t think at least once “what the hell is Edyta wearing?” I realized this time, that her usual tops remind me of what Bea Arthur used to wear on The Golden Girls. And then she adds leg warmers to complete the 80’s-fashion-gone-horribly-wrong look.
How they could say that Joey’s tango was better than Monique’s is beyond me.
Loved Emmitt. The fox trot made me want to learn how to fox trot.
Agree – she clearly came in last last night. It was the first time I gave her none of my votes – they all went to Emmitt, who I like more and more every week. What a fabulous smile that man has!

I really don’t want to loose Monique yet, but the others did such great work, and she just isn’t there. She really was sabatoged by overly complicated dances. As was pointed out, there aren’t extra points for trying something hard and failing. Maybe if it had been one somewhat easier dance and one harder ond during the week, it was doable, but I think he killed her chances this week.
The Professional dancing with Emmitt is far better at showcasing his assets. I don’t think he is doing dances as complicated as those that Joey and Mario are doing but he has something neither of them have. He is drop dead, flat out OMG sexy. He also seems to be having so much fun doing it. I really kind of hope he wins it.
I don’t know if I can choose between Joey and Mario, except that Edyta overshadows Joey so much that it is hard to pay attention to him, and I think that will cost him in the end.
Mario was his usual hot, sexy self. But he’s so driven - I’m almost afraid of what he might do if he lost. That sounds weird, but it’s the vibe I get off him. Like there’s violence lurking under the dimples. Emmitt is so much fun to watch. Like Carrie-Ann said, all the men want to dance like him and all the women (and many men) want to dance with him. He’s not as polished as Mario, but he makes up for it in sheer exuberance and fun. Joey’s dances didn’t do much for me. It seemed polished and co-ordinated, but again more of an internal thing. And Monique needs to find clothes that suit her body, which still has a bit of baby fat.
The final two should be Emmitt and Mario. I really don’t care which wins, because they each bring something different to the art of dance.

Joey creeps me out. He’s too puppy-like (just wanna make you happy, boss!) Edyta creeps me out, too. If I see her with her foot on his shoulder one more time, I will scream!
I’m afraid Monique will be auf-ed tonite. I hated her black lipstick. I was not crazy about either of her dances. And I get more of a “going postal” quality from Louis than I do from Mario! Watch out for splatter tonite!
Emmitt! What more can I say? He’s like a big comfy cushion. . . who can move! I hope he wins. But I wouldn’t mind if Mario wins, either.
