Someone was going to start this thread. Kelly Monaco has just completed her first dance, and I’m afraid I’ve remembered how much I really dislike her. Ballroom dancing is supposed to be fun, yet all she does is talk about how much work it is! When this series started, I’d just started getting into ballroom dancing with the gentleman I’ve been seeing and was starting to enjoy it before injuring my knee and getting knocked out for the summer. I would love to have the opportunity she has, and all she’s doing is whining!
Less than five minutes into the first dance, a cha-cha, her partner nearly dropped her. It was caught by Kerri Ann Inaba, the judge.
I am taping this and I’ll save the rest of my comments until tomorrow morning, (Kelly has just called dancing fun, in all fairness to her.) but it’s still sounding too much like work.
Fellow Dopers, what do you think? I’m going to watch the dancing!
