I don’t care if a transgendered person is on Dancing With the Stars (not that I watch it). I’m more concerned about the fact that he’s being exploited for his t/g status - kind of like how Kirstie Alley was, uh, noted for her size. Chaz is both overweight and transgendered. Somehow I feel like they’re making a joke out of him. (Also, since when is Chaz Bono a ‘star’? Ah, well.)
I guess if the Situation, Bristol Palin, and Kate Gosselin qualify, might as well throw Chaz in there, too.
Fair enough! I still think he may have been selected for his transgender (former transgender?) status. 
That could be, but if so he is show-biz savvy enough to know that’s exactly what’s going on and wants the publicity anyway. This still doesn’t explain Nancy Grace - while not transgendered she could stunt the growth of penises of any sexual orientation if she dances in a body suit.
That’s probably likely. Back when Chaz was Chastity, I don’t really remember him (her?) being talked about all that much.

I only watch DWTS to see Hines Ward. And even then I only watched when he was dancing, and then switched to something else.

I remember when he was a little girl and would appear on their show once in a while, however, if he wasn’t transgendered, he wouldn’t be on DWTS.

I couldn’t care less about Chaz Bono’s transgendered status. He was ugly as a girl and even uglier now as a guy. The thing I don’t get is the whole “Star” aspect of DWTS. Is Chaz Bono a star? Really? At least the other reality show celebs are actually stars of something. WTF has Chaz done other than be Cher’s kid?
