Maybe yes, maybe no.

New theory: Astral is Frank, but he thinks he’s Jason Bourne.
Prof, are there any my actions you’d like an accounting for?
No, at this point I’m ready for Dante to write up the exciting finale.
Ok then, I see all the votes are in and locked as much as they are going to be.
Hooker Chemical - **2 **(Astral Rejection,Professor Pepperwinkle)
Voting closed. Narrative following.
Day 5 - Downton New York City
The city grew dark as the sun set around it casting shadows over its people. Frank Martin drove his car through the streets scanning the faces, looking for one man in particular. He had been driving around snatching people up for the past few nights and he thought this one man would have the answers to why. He always made it a policy to not question his jobs, but transporting people three nights in a row? That warranted some answers.
Walking the streets of the city, **Bryan Mills **was searching for answers himself. He had gotten limited information about why he was here. All he knew was a man was going around picking people up in a black Audi 8 and another tall blonde haired European man had been going on a killing spree. If nothing else, Bryan was intrigued.
It didn’t take long though, for all the pieces to come into play. Bryan had spotted the Audi a block away coming around the corner. Just ahead standing on the corner, he saw a tall blonde man with a gun in his hand. He wasn’t even trying to hide the weapon either. Bryan was definitely interested now.
The Audi sped towards the corner just as Karl**** raised his gun. He fired twice, puncturing the tire and sending the vehicle out of control. The driver tried to correct the car put, but it clipped the curb and spun around, jumping another curb in reverse and then plowing backwards into a man standing on the sidewalk.
The car hopped the curb and was launched backwards right at Bryan before he could even react. The rear bumper rammed his chest, instantly breaking several ribs. He fell back with the cars rear wheel rolling up over his neck, crushing it.
Hooker Chemical has been lynched. He was Bryan Mills (Taken) Town aligned.
Taking a second to realize he was okay, FB]Frank Martin **turned the car off and got out, running around to the back to check on the man he had struck. It didn’t take long to realize there was no hope for him though. Frank slammed his hands on the trunk of the car in frustration and was turning towards the street when he felt a gun pressed against the back of his neck.
“I believe I owe you shot to the head, my friend,” said Karl. “Please, do turn around.”
Frank slowly turned to face him and without hesitation, he swiftly grabbed the hand holding the gun and wrenched it down slamming his other hand into the Karl’s wrist, loosening the grip on the pistol. Frank struck again, this time the gun hit the ground. He kicked it away and then swung a back fist punch to Karl’s jaw, knocking him back a step.
“Now it looks like you may owe me two,” Frank said with a grin.
Karl wiped his mouth and sneered, “Gladly.”
He swung a left punch at Frank. He missed as it was dodged, but he was already in motion, expecting the miss, and he rotated his body around and landed a hard kick to Franks head, knocking him to the side. He then raised up his arms and brought his clasped fist down on his back, sending Frank down onto the ground. Before he could even bring himself up, Karl had stuck again with a stomp to his lower spine. Frank cried out in pain and tried to twist his body over to move, but he was grabbed around the front of his head and he was slammed face first into the hard pavement.
“I believe that’s two, my friend,” said Karl as he picked up his gun. “But to show you I am generous, here’s one last one.”
He fired one round into Franks already broken skull, ending his life.
Professor Pepperwinkle is dead. He was Frank Martin (The Transporter) / Town aligned Transporter
Karlpocketed his weapon and left off into the night. He felt quite proud of himself for fulfilling his groups plans even though they had their own losses. He smiled and continued walking into the night.
The Villains have won the game! Congratulations to them and thank you all for playing. I know it wasn’t what you all were used to, but you stuck to it and I thank you.
Feel free to discuss all you like. I may get on tomorrow morning and post a list of all the Days and Nights activities in case anyone is interested.
Thanks again, fellow Dopers!!!
So much for going with my gut. Pfui. Many apologies all around, especially to Hooker.
Great narration, Dante. Thanks for the game! I enjoyed it thoroughly, right up to almost the end.
Congrats to Astral!
Great game, everybody! I was so tense leading up to this final moment. So many people had us entirely pegged, and it was definitely an uphill battle for Sario, Sangfroid and I to climb our way to victory.
If you guys would like to see our machinations, you can see our scum board here: http://www.quicktopic.com/51/H/XYENdHJ3SnTNR
In it, you’ll see my inner anguish play out as I was sure, day after day, you guys would see through my wild lies.
Dammit!!! I was posting that from an IPad and it has all those color code errors. I went to edit my post after wards, but I took too long on the editing and it locked me out from fixing it.
Of all the narratives, it had to happen on the finale. Dammit.
Wow Astral! Congrats!
I had lots of fun, even if my time got cut short. Sorry for that by the way! The reason I didn’t post was to avoid posting a spoiler.
Also, and I honestly believe this: the no-lynch was bad for town.
That’s a Scum tell right there, I tell you.
Astral, I know! I did a read through the scum boards… interesting! You worked your asses off to pull this off, especially you Astral! If you have a look through the forbidden thread, you’ll see it’s pretty barren…
And again, thanks Dante!
Just got on tonight.
Well, hell, Astral, a gigantic Tip 'O The Hat to you for pulling that one out of…somewhere!
To me, no major faults anywhere here given the mechanics and how things were set up. I liked the premise, I liked the play and had a lot of fun.
Thanks for hosting, Dante!
I do want to say to Prof. P that I was in the same position last game at the end, and it really seems to be a coin toss sometimes.
The difference here at SD (to me) seems to be that many of these folks are relentlessly analytical, and the game play reflects that in spades. There’s almost no place to hide.
Last game, I was actually pretty dumb about things. This game, I was still dumb about things, but less so, versus where I played before. Most of the games I was in were more wild west shoot-'em-outs than cold hard analysis.
WAY easier to hide if you’re scum under those conditions.
These people are more like CSI on gallons of espresso…
*It depends on just what the meaning of IS is, as was once once infamously uttered. *
To sum up, for me:
Holy crap, Astral, way to pin it!
Thank you, Dante, for hosting.
Thanks to Prof. P for doggedly sticking it out, and being such a good sport. Lots of us get absurdly twitchy over such meaningless things as a game like this, and you got class my friend. Well done.
Thanks to everyone else for playing.
And, what’s next???
I called it first! But I was wrong about everything else I said about everyone else, so I guess that evens out.
Yes, thanks, Dante, I would like to see the Day and Night activities, though the scumboard does provide some answers. Gee, did you guys have me pegged.

THE VILLAINS WIN
So, if I hadn’t Transported Astral on Night 1, Karl would have been the first to meet Riggs in the Night and would have died.
Well, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: pfui!
Did we ever get confirmation on how WF Tomba’s power works? I thought he was just a classic vigilante, able to choose a single target to nightkill at a time of his choosing. I never saw anything that led me to believe his power was based on people visiting him, except that he killed a player with an active power.
The most frustrating part for me is that on day 2 I said “Hooker is absolutely town” and “I will not stop voting for Astral until one of us is dead.” That night I’m murdered by scum, and the game came down to someone choosing between Hooker and Astral. Argh!!!
Oh, I guess if I had read the list of actions above, that pretty heavily implies that’s how it works. You really DID save me from a kill, Prof. Pepperwinkle!
