I’m certainly rooting for David Duke to win! It’s not as though he’d be taking the seat away from a rational thinker — whoever does become the Junior Senator from Louisiana will have drunk the Hate-Hillary Kool-Aid.
Now is the perfect opportunity to rub Republicans’ noses in the stench of what their Party has become. Let’s hope the Democrats sweep “purple” America and that “deep red” America becomes enough of a caricature that even Republicans will see it.
Hopefully, Duke will get the clobbering he deserves, but sadly, I can’t be sure of it. Thanks so much for reminding me that I need to be embarrassed for the state I was born in, as well as the one I live in.
