David Tennant engaged!

Ack! Say it ain’t so! Horrors! Fangirls everywhere lament! Our favorite tenth doctor has apparently been snagged.

Georgia Moffett, Fifth Doctor Peter Davison’s and Trillian’s daughter, aka Jenny The Doctor’s Daughter.

It’s all sorts of weird.

Yes, the Doctor is going to marry his Daughter, from a different time-stream.

Very odd indeed!

Well…talk about keeping it in the family…

Yeah, no kidding, I just got a twinge of  reading that title - and I’m engaged myself.

She’s not the first costar he’d dated either - he also dated wasshername, The Girl in the Fireplace, for a while.

Sophia Myles.

The news of the engagement was posted in The Sun, so take that with a grain of salt. Of course it’s been all over the net for over a day now and there’s been no kind of denial released, so…

If it is true, congrats to them! Georgia seems like a lovely woman.

(And yeah, the whole ‘Doctor dating his onscreen daughter, who is actually the *real *daughter of another Doctor, who was Tennant’s favorite Doctor when he was a child…’ is a bit weird, heh.)

Did anyone else think this thread was going to be about one of the Pet Shop Boys?

Heh. Well you’re actually not *that *far off as David Tennant née MacDonald took that as his stage name after seeing Neil Tennant’s name on an album.

[fangirl lament]Isn’t she, like, half his age?[/fangirl lament]

Closer to 2/3. He’s 39, she’s 26.

Just barely within the half your age + 7 rule.

I’m just glad it wasn’t Billie Piper, myself. Now that would cause fan rage.

Just had a thought - he’s fairly likely to wear a kilt for his wedding, isn’t he? I’m not one to squee, but…

Oh, she was cute! Good for him.

Well, then, I have good news for you.

Well, yeah, I know, but I’m looking forward to more pictures like that.

re: topic title

hmmm… maybe I should make a topic about this on ATMB

SQUEE!

just sayin’

An exclamation point has nothing to do with yelling. It is specifically used to convey excitement about a statement. In a way, it was the first emoticon.
