Daylight Saving Time Ends

Everyone says that one will get an extra hour of sleep.
So why am I still up at dark-thirty?

Its an extra hour to sober up from halloween.

Because you can sleep in that extra hour in the morning.

It ends next week apparently…at least in California

I put daylight into my savings account every year yet I still end up with less daylight every time it ends. I think this whole thing is a scam.

Nope, today, November 1 across the U.S. Why would California be an exception?

Yeah, I looked at the one timepiece in my apartment that does not automatically change, “It’s five o’clock, good enough.” Turns out it was four o’clock and the store didn’t have the Sunday papers yet.

The thing I hate living in Arizona is, we don’t change our clocks for daylight time, so some of the TV networks go an hour earlier when DST starts, then go an hour later when it ends, meaning I have to adjust my DVR if I have a recurring program set to record. Yeah, I know. First World problem, right?

My dog doesn’t know from time change, so I was up at 5, which was really 4. Stoopit dog.

You need a watch dog.

More good news: tomorrow is statistically one of the most dangerous days to drive because of the time change throwing people’s sleep off.

Doh…if course you are right. :o

When I was a kid in Saskatchewan (another “no DST” zone), it was kind of nice because prime time television either started at 7:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.; if prime time started super-early, then you could watch late night shows like David Letterman or “Saturday Night Live” and still get a full night’s sleep.

Didn’t you say that an hour ago?

I’m texting this while I drive and I would like to point out why this is factually inco

cat was up, therefore I is.

master of the house wins.

he sits there on top of me and paws at my face…claws come out if not responsive at the first few paws…I EAT NOW *ITCH
adding… my clock radio time is perpetually wrong so whatever its set at I either add or subtract depending on the time switch

no use setting the correct time because either a storm comes thru and shuts down the power or the husband is always working on different electrical situations…

Didn’t you say that an hour ago?

I look forward to it getting dark earlier. One of the best parts of daylight savings time ending.

Now, New Mexico would be different, because it’s in another country.

Your dog must have texted my cats. They were dying of starvation at 4:30 this morning. So, my extra hour was spent awake. It works out, though. One really rough day, and I’ll be adjusted by Tuesday, I hope.

Twice a year, I wish that somehow, some way, we could settle on a time and stick with it. sigh
