This sentence confused me for a good five minutes. My brain insisted that the pronoun “he” referred to Paul, and I couldn’t figure out why we were having a Dopefest for Paul if Paul wasn’t there. Then the obvious hit me: “he” refers to me! The only reason that wasn’t perfectly clear is that I’m a “she”. Which, of course, you had no way of knowing.
I hope you guys like Jaleo, since I suggested it and I won’t even be going!

Also, we have a sick guinea pig in the Typo/Zappa household. We may have to bail out of the Dopefest, depending on when our pet gets released from the vet.

The day of the last DC Dopefest the people who were coming posted how they were dressed. This made it easier to identify Dopers at the restaurant. I think we should do that again this time. [sup]*[/sup]

No we don’t have reservations. I think we’ll be OK with a walk-in for the number of people we have. The first Doper there should ask for a table under the name “Cecil” or “Cecil Adams”.
We’ll be seven people - my Guinea Pig is home and OK, so the four (human) members of the Typo/Zappa clan will be coming.
I’m wearing an off-white/light colored Hawaiian shirt with trees on it, and beige slacks.
There’s a chance I’ll come but it’s doubtful
