You coulda just come down and met us! Sorry you missed it, but there is sure to be another gathering before too long.
I missed this one. How about tonight or tomorrow?
I did, too, Dave . . . damn me and my forgetting this thread.
By the time I could have gotten there it would have been all over.
I’ll try to keep a closer watch on MPSIMS.
So…attendees…care to praise my boss’s band?
(Both my bosses there were cool, yes?)
Jomo, good to meet you…
Already did…here.
Yeah, yeah, hot chick, leather pants, rockin’ blues. Yawn.
Oh, and seriously, Phil and Leigh-Anne, going to the show was a great idea, and exactly what I needed. Thanks.
I saw that RT, but a lot of people on SD don’t read Fathom, and I thought perhaps y’all would share your thoughts with them as well…especially those in the area who couldn’t come–let’em live a little vicariously.
Geobabe, I’m glad you found some relief in it. Now, just for the record, they were pleather pants – Julie’s a pesca-vegetarian (she only eats animals she’d be willing to kill herself, and she does indeed fish, so…), but her only leather (animal-based clothing) to my knowledge are her horse-riding supplies which aren’t available in an alternate material.
I’ll hopefully be able to add some pictures to their website in the next week or so when I get my revved up pc back and can download the video and video-caps I took.
That would be “fish” as a verb, versus “fish” as a noun.
And GB, what about my other boss? He’s a really nice guy…
And single, you say?
I dug that new song of theirs, “Sound Check.”
How she wailed…
*This is a sound check!
Woo-hoo! SOUND … CHECK!!!*
Hey folks -
Thanks so much for coming down and celebrating life with us on Friday.
It’s always nice to see new faces at our shows and it’s especially nice to hear your great compliments like “Janis voice” and “hot chick”!
Each show is different from the next - especially with songs like “Sound Check.” Once we did an impromptu song like that which I guess could be called “Erik has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the set” it was pretty funny. Or there was one time Erik (keyboards) took off his top layer shirt (he had one underneath) and we played/sang a strip tease song for him.
You just never know what we’ll do - I’m always looking for new ways to make fun of Erik.
Anywhoo - Thanks again for coming to see us and I hope that some or all of you can make it back out to see us again sometime.

Catching you guys again is high up on my ‘things I want to do’ list, Julie. As the expression goes, you rock!
Welcome to the SDMB, Julie! We can always benefit from more musical presence here!
That’s just the bestest band what am
