Fellow DC-ites: The Friday before the Norfolk meet (8/25) I am planning on seeing a show at the Black Cat on 14th St. NW. The band is the Posies, one of my favorites; the founders/leaders are performing an acoustic show. They are from the Cheap Trick/Big Star school of “power-pop” music.
