DC Dopers: Eagles-Redskins get-together this Sunday?

As the Redskins fans (and the Eagles fan) in our midst know, the Redskins and the Eagles face off on Sunday at 1pm. Anyone want to get together (either at someone’s house or at a sports bar somewhere) to watch the game?

I’m willing to offer my house, but I know it’s somewhat out of the way. (As far as I can tell, of the DC/Balt Dopers, only Weirddave and Jonathan Chance live further off from everyone else than I do.) If anyone has a more centrally located place to offer/recommmend, that might be better. (I have no idea where any sports bars are in the DC area, but there have to be some.)

If Montfort is able to join us, it will give him a golden opportunity to spit in our eye. (Especially mine, since we’ve got a bet on the game. :)) But even if he can’t, I’m thinking it would be fun. Who’s game?

Well, we’ll be trapped on the Highway from Hell™, trying to get home from CT on Sunday, so we can’t come, but we wish we could. Have fun!

Oh, you poor souls! My only advice is, take the GW Bridge and the NJ Turnpike, not the Tappan Zee and the Garden State. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Well, I won’t have a non-stickshift car until November 27 or so (other two vehicles are in for repairs not made necessary by me:)), so I think I’ll have to pass on this one.

I’m going to suggest the Grand Slam Sports Bar in the basement of the Hyatt at 10th and H, NW, as a location for this get-together. (Patrick, if you can get a ride to/from the subway, that should be an easy walk from Metro Center.)

Other suggestions (including chez Firefly) are welcome.
