Lord knows why I’m bumping this thread, seeing as how I’ve established a batting average of about .100 for saying I’ll be at a doper gathering and then not showing up, but, eh.

Pennsylvania Avenue…just a few doors up toward the White House from 14th & Pa. And no, Dan, no beans. Crabcakes, apple slaw and horseradish sauche or Maple-Pecan ‘Amish’ Chicken breast, chive mashed potatoes, spinach, and asge natural jus. Not sure what Amish chicken is.
They’re little teeny chickens with bonnets- you know a traditional set…
Damn…Friday’s filled up with a buncha stuff - no way to get in to the city at lunchtime, either for Lunch Bunch or for crashing the American Gas Assn. lunch.

Well, I’ll also have a black overcoat, but I’ll be sporting a classic grey fedora, much like Bogart was wearing at the train station when Ilsa stiffed him and didn’t show up.
Hopefully, this event will be less traumatic.
I don’t think I can make it. I just had to make a tuition payment for next semester and I am po’ as po’ can be. Looks like ramen and cereal (not together!) until I get paid next!
