Potbelly’s has yummy sandwiches… It isnt far from Au Bon Pain but it is a small place… Is anyone coming today? What time are we supposed to meet?
Due to uncertainty of where we were meeting, the bloody freezing cold, the boards being down so I couldn’t check the information, and the fact that I would have to navigate DC by myself this week, I’ve left it until too late to make the decision. If I left right now I might make it there at about 12:45. Not today, guys.

The Potbelly Sandwich Works is located at 12th and F Streets - closer to Metro Center than McPherson. I’ve heard of 'em through office conversation; their sandwiches seem to be priced in the $3-$5 range, if I remember correctly.
It’s a bit of a walk from McPherson, unless we all want to meet at the Metro Center exit closest to 12th and F and go from there.

Potbelly’s is quite excellent but there is absoultely no room to sit inside for a party of more than two. It’s probably a good place to go once it’s a little warmer (they have some outside seating) and if we plan in advance, but I’d say it’d be tough to make it work today.
Anyway, it looks very likely that I’ll be able to show today.

I’ll meet you at Potbelly, so don’t wait for me at the Metro stop! I figure it’ll be quicker, coming in on the Green Line, to walk over from the nearest GL stop than to change trains.

Probably not. You’ll end up way the hell east of us, probably about 7 blocks or so. Change to the Orange/Blue Line at L’Enfant Plaza and go to McPherson. You’ll be the warmer for it, trust me.
