The trailer reuses footage from various episodes for Arrow and The Flash as well as certain trailers and promo spots. The Reverse Flash you see behind Captain Cold and Heatwave is from Superhero Fight Club.
No it’s the Reverse Flash. Look at clip 2:08
Every time Cap’n Cold shows up and makes things difficult for The Flash all I can think is, “He’s just a guy in a parka! With a gun! A gun he can’t even build! How the hell is this guy any kind of supervillain?!”
I mean, sure, he’s smart and enunciates really well, but at the end of the day a guy with a machine gun is scarier.
2:08 in the OP is a shot of a hand in a suit, and something that looks like lunar module landing gear lifting off of the ground.
Like I said, clips from previous episodes. ![]()
Heh. He is indeed smart and enunciates, but in real life I don’t think I could stand to listen to him. I think that’s his super power. Irritating to listen to Man. I wouldn’t last long, because I’d be finishing all his sentences for him.
I can see why Flash might want Captain Cold and Heat Wave out of town, especially Cold, since he knows Flash’s secret identity. I was wondering why Heat Wave was on the team when they have Firestorm, but then answered my own question: Because there are some things/people Firestorm won’t burn.
Also, my husband refers to Heat Wave as “Vandal fodder.”
I wonder if they’ll ever include Plastic Man and Captain Marvel.
One of the announced MCU films will be a Captain Marvel movie.
Oh, shit. I got my comic book universes confused. Never mind my last post.
Great username/post combo.
About a year ago I heard something about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson being tapped as Black Adam.
I’d love to see either or both but only if they’re done right. Both characters are as far from the dark and moody comic motif as you can get. The Big Red Cheese is a 12-year-old boy playing superhero, and Plas is just having fun. The right tone would be comedy.
Ralph Dibny was mentioned by Thawne (as Wells) as being dead. He was a partner of Flash’s called the Elongated Man with powers similar to Plastic Man’s. I’m wondering if in the new timeline he does show up.
There’s a Captain Marvel movie – the Shazam-shouting original – on the schedulefor 2019.
Whether or not it’ll be as light and fun as it should be is questionable, as the current DC Comics version seems to have become rather dark and moody, from the little I’ve seen of it. (I’m trying to keep my pleasant memories of Billy Batson and his alter ego intact.)
Lol yes you are correct. I see it was from the last episode of The Flash.
A lot of people thought dead in the accident turned out to be alive.
