I’m a bit disappointed that Rip Hunter doesn’t wear a fez, 'cause - you know - in the future, fezzes are cool. Otherwise, a fantastic trailer. The three-way crossovers are gonna be awesome. Plus tiny Ray Palmer is so cute!

Agreed–I have zero interest in the DC Movieverse (even less after seeing the Sups v Batman trailer) but I’m really enjoying the TVverse’s stuff.
Besides never having been a DC fan, why am I not excited? The costumes? They don’t seem to quite manage to be both comicy and real. Is it that the actors don’t seem to be committed to the premise? Is it that the mix of humor and epicness doesn’t quite gel? Possibly because the humor isn’t funny and my mind revolts at having the epicness of it all speeched to me?
I am really looking forward to this, even though it could fall flat. It is clearly ambitious even in the universe they have already created. For it to work, it is going to need an FX budget that is even bigger than The Flash has.
I am curious as to how they will mix Heat Wave and Captain Cold into the group. Also, it will be interesting to see how they introduce Rip Hunter. I wonder if Barry encounters him on his trip back to save mom?
Vandal Savage is a great choice for the big bad in a series with the concept this one has. Although it is the time travel aspect of the series that can make or break it. If it gets used as a giant reset button too often, if they become too bogged down in alternate time-lines, it will be a problem.
Must agree. I am a Marvel guy. I have liked the Flash and a bit of Arrow. Comics heroes are always walking a line navigating silly/melodramatic, fun and gritty. This feels a bit too silly melodramatic. I would love to be proven wrong.

They made it clear on The Flash that Captain Cold loves his city. Okay, so he can rob it, but he still loves it. If the same holds true for his brother and sister, they should make fun, snarky reluctant heroes.
All I could think of when I saw the trailer was “poor man’s Avengers” - I mean, they even got a rich guy in a suit and a another guy with a bow & arrows.
I think another good question is why Hawk girl and the Jay Jackson? RIP Hunter I get because they need someone to get them started but why did they add those other two characters?

White Canary has never been Dinah (who’s not the Canary in the Arrowverse). The comic White Canary was an unnamed Chinese woman who had a grudge against Dinah.
