What exactly is your question? If it’s the “Did you change your opinion about December?”, you’ve already noted that I posted a retraction, even though you couldn’t count the number of words in it.
Who are these conservative members? Give specific examples. Anyone banned for blatant rule violations does not count. Neither do all those multi-thousand post conservatives here in this very fucking thread.

Jodi in all fairness that statement was retracted in tone at least several posts ago.
I’m not really happy about december being banned, although i certainly won’t miss him. While i think that some of his threads came damn close to trolling, and that his mangled Clinton/Bush quote thread certainly deserved the warning that he received for it, i dont really think that he deserved to be banned, especially if the Bali post was the straw (man) that broke the camel’s back. I believe that december truly believed what he said in that post.
Although i should say that december’s OP in that thread was far less innocent than weirddave and some others suggest. Moreover, when it was pointed out that the chronology of events not only made december’s accusations offensive, but also completely incorrect, december and his defenders tried to defend this by arguing that the whole thread was really about the bigger issue of protests and their consequences. While this was true to a limited extent, the fact remains that december’s OP focused on that very specific claim by a very specific terrorist regarding a very specific instance. His whole argument was predicated on the correctness of his initial claim, and when was found to be bullshit, it becamse rather disingenuous to then imply that the initial claim was not important.
Still, even though i disagreed with just about everything he wrote, found him offensive (despite his politeness), and think that he came very close to breaking the rule against “being a jerk” on many occasions, i’m still not particularly happy that he was banned.
But, that said, i would like to add one final request.
Would the conservative posters (and some of the “moderates”) on this board please post your collar sizes and sleeve lengths so that we can have your hair-shirts made up for you? Seriously, the whole conservative martyr tone that this thread has taken is pretty pathetic.
If it’s so bad around here, why don’t you all leave? At least then, with the conservatives gone, your mindless accusations about liberal hegemony might bear the faintest resemblance to the truth.
