Ok just saw The Wolverine. I’ve seen all the X men related movies but not read the comics. Spoiler to come so stop reading if you haven’t seen it.
First of all, why is Jean portrayed as his soul mate? If that really is her ghost appearing to him, wouldn’t her soul mate be Scott? If it’s just his own brain creating her, is he going insane? They were friends and he was attracted to her. What am I missing?
The only time she returned his affection wasn’t her true self.
Second the chick who played his love interest had the personality of a wet paper towel and they had no chemistry, not to mention she was maybe twenty years younger than him.
And they need to stop making these because his wrinkles are getting bad. Immortals don’t age.
