Since we’re already in the Pit, let me denounce those who lack appreciation for The Prophet. Much of it reads like poetry; and the lesson on “Children” teaches much of what y’all are trying to teach her, but better and more eloquently.

For the record, I still say they are saucywench and Charlie Wayne. They were good at seeming to be clueless, and at saying things that irritate people, but not so good as faking how a non-troll reacts to being called a troll. No, I won’t explain what I mean.

Based on some of the posts I’ve read in this thread, some people have an emotional connection to this type of event because it’s reflected in their own life experience. Whether as the parent or the child.

I thought it was generally agreed that was somewhat extraordinary.
You’re missing the important details, the hyperbolic statements that make this difficult to believe. The over-the-top Norman Rockwell descriptions, the declarations of certain depravity, things like “they won’t smoke around the dog to not hurt his little lungs”. Also the refusal to change her stance even the tiniest bit, to give an inch, yet still posting here. That last bit is something nobody would ever do unless they were intentionally riling people up and putting on a performance.
