My daughter is sick today, so I am staying home with her. I was pleasantly surprised when the Doodlebops came on. DeeDee Doodle makes me…feel funny.
So I haven’t seen it for several months. What the heck has happened to DeeDee? She has lost a significant “cute” factor…

This week they’ve started showing the newly formatted show - different costumes, songs, some of the set is new and so are some of the characters.
I dislike the new show. My toddler doesn’t get as much enjoyment out of it either.
Like the other Doodlebops, DeeDee wears a lot of foam appliances, including those that form her cartoonish fingers, ears, and hair.
As soon as we saw the trailers for the new episodes on this week, the first thing my wife mentioned is that DeeDee’s hair has changed. It must be a new appliance.
I was planning on starting a Doodlebops thread…not about DeeDee, but about Audio frigging Murphy and his massive resemblance in both form and function to Poochie from the Simpsons. Talk about life imitating art, and not in a complimentary way.
That’s a great pun. There just aren’t that many children’s show characters named after World War II veterans.
