De'endee Mafia

Red Skeezix-

As your quite likely final act on this world, you’re going to need to murder a Lord of Slaughter.

You know what to do. And they’ll be watching you.

A delayed role block? Isn’t that what SP claimed happened to him night 1?

What?!

I’m going to bed. And maybe when I wake up, this will all be a terrible nightmare.

No, not until the morning.

Claiming now doesn’t help jack squat, but provides murder targets. You know that.

The obvious answer is that it required Leveling up or potentially foregoing a nightkill or both.

Spoiler access if you would be so kind

I wasn’t much help this game but I have a belly full of ideas now for next time
sic’em Defenders

(oh yeah and avenge me and junk)

If people want to wait until morning, that’s fine by me. I doubt we’re going to get very many more power role claims and as you’ve pointed out several times, there are a few people the scum should want dead already, adding more to the pile will just give them added stress.

I doubt it.

Those roles if they exist already give the scums stress. Announcing who they are allows the scums to block them, murder them… and so on.

Oh fuck me sideways. I didn’t remember that the day ended an hour early. Sorry, ShadowFacts.

Well, let’s see what all those ShadowFacts hate train riders have to say for themselves, hmmm?

Looking forward to voting, locking & loading on Red Tomorrow.

My first thought, now that I actually think about it, is an additional ability gained by Scum from leveling up.

What are you saying here? That the Day Kill was the result of a delayed block? An interesting theory, but if so, I would think that would show up at Dawn, not Dusk. My ‘delayed reveal’ came at dawn a full Day after my action; if LightFoot’s killer used a Night action, her death should have showed up This Morning or Tomorrow Morning, depending on whether it was a Night 3 or Night 4 action.

It’s already a terrible nightmare.

Sometimes I really hate this game.

Night action suggestions.

Interesting comment.

I don’t think SP should definitely track Red, if he’s town. It’s too predictable. At least give them some WIFOM to consider you might go after someone else. (Idea is to hope that if Red is scum, the WIFOM keeps him locked down while SP finds something interesting elsewhere. Or conversely, that a scum Red hopes SP goes elsewhere and gets caught out.)

Red’s suggestions: I think my suspects are clear enough (MG, Suburban, Inner). Attacking Pedescribe woudl be a bad idea.

Inner – god if I know.

If a town power was responsible for teh delay in activity of Suburban on nigth one and perhaps LF’s death today, they should claim now, to help with night action decisions. Otherwise not until morning.

I do have to say that he last time I saw such a power, it was a scum one.

Yeah, I don’t know who in the game I should protect now, so bleah. Daykills are dirty pool.

Well, assuming your role is real, you should probably protect yourself. And if you lack that capability, just say “sure Pizza, that’s a good idea. Self-protect it is…”

I bet you a slice of pizza that I get murdered tonight, though.

Not a daykill per se, I don’t think. It’d be consistent with a delay power like SP described having been used on him (although did he say he got his results the next night? I can’t remember).

Anyway, main point is that if a townie used it on the scum killer, the result might show up like this. But the same applies if it was a scum power used deliberately on their own player so as to bypass Ligthfoot’s protection. I need to think it through when I"m less sleepy and am able to double check SP’s story, this could all be complete nonsense right at the moment. Back in the morning.
