De'endee Mafia

Special ed says bah! to that.

Look! Tiny tildes! Way kewl!

Nevermind about that, it’s a fair cop. Apparently he did weigh the same as a duck.

We did do the nose… and the hat, but he *was *a witch.

I fully re-read yesterday’s lynch voting round.

I’m prepared to admit I could be wrong on USCDiver.

The bloody fingerprints are all over Hirka and choie. Diver could be a pawn who just looks scummy because he happened to agree with what the scums wanted to do.

I’m prepared to double-or-nothing my previous bet on **Hirka **and choie, leaving **Diver **out of it and instead pretending I said “Red Skeezix” was their partner instead of Diver. Or, the scums had 5 scumbags and he’s number 5.

So much for humility, Pizza.
I thought you said you weren’t going to place any more bets, guy?
Since when do I *ever *do what I say, Pizza?
Good point, guy.

Ugh I’m tired. I’ll try to get those vote counts completed before I have to head out; it’s possible that might wake me up enough to do teh other stuff I want.

More interested in your thoughts on current suspects; the details of the unvotes can be completed at your leisure in the next day phase when we’ll have more time.

My friend, I trust you to smack me on the head for being wrong one more time if I am.

You were better on Stickler and Skeezix, as townie or mafia respectively. Show me where I’m wrong on Hirka/choie.

All right, I’ll try. I need more coffee for somethign that requires actual thought, though. :frowning:

Also interesting is your thoughts on the others I looked at.

I’ve now analyzed everyone in the game, and everyone besides Hirka/choie and Diver are turning up solidly townie, even on folks like Weedy or MentalGuy, who I know is a big fish you’ve been trying to catch.

Show me where they’re scummy so I am not leaving stones unturned.

Ooh, pizza, review me next! I wanna know if I’ve been acting scummy!

Not having read it all yet (for meaning), my guess would be that if you are leaving stones unturned it’s in settling too firmly into given scum motivations. Like you couldn’t see why scum would choose Skeezix to die over Septimus on day four. So whereever you’ve made a particular assumption about scum motive, reverse it and see if anything different pops out.

Agree, though I reallyreallyreally want to see the specific comments that gnarly (and Hirka, of course) made at this time. Anyone who feels like going back to pull them up gets a cookie from me.

Okay.

Hirka (massive snippage) –

I actually give a teensy-tiny town read to both gnarly and Koldanar/Hirka for being on that bandwagon with Septimus, on the theory that scum don’t like to double up on small bandwagons if they can help it, and it’s not like Septimus didn’t have a bunch of other choices to vote for. Obviously this is not an ironclad theory.

Timing-wise, Septimus voted third on the ATPG wagon at a time when Kelly had five votes, Jan had one, and Koldanar had two. Not indicative of anything, really. Red Skeezix was the first vote for Jan, also not helpful.

Koldanar never came truly close to the lynch lead later on, so I think there’s nothing much else to be learned here.

Verdict: Teeny-tiny town read for gnarly and Hirka on weak “scum wouldn’t bandwagon together” grounds.

Hirka doubled up three posts prior to my own vote change to Septimus, and he couldn’t have known that that was coming. At the time it was 6 votes for Jan to 4 for Septimus, I think, enough to be a little wary, but I don’t think truly worried. I’m going to rate this one as strict neutral on the vote timing, ever so slightly scum for avoiding all the top bandwagons. (Despite that his subbing in would have caused issues anyway.)

Correct assumption, I believe; as with Red the next day, most scums will want to bus. Anyone who doesn’t is taking some serious contrarian risks.

As noted previously, Hirka’s vote change to Shadowfacts at post 1091 ties the two (previously, 6 Septimus/4 Shadow). He does have townie cover in me and Pizza, though Red Skeezix is also voting Shadow (as well as Septimus). It’s a bit of a risky move for a scum, but the scum motive is obviously really strong.

Verdict: Leans scum.

Again as with Septimus the previous day, I think the default scum move would have been to bus. Hirka does put one early vote on Skeezix. His second vote comes so late as to be meaningless. I think the Septimus/Skeezix choice that came up woudl have been an awkward one for the scums. Both options are “right”, but still anything you do could still be read as scummy. Vote too late on the one who dies? Bussing. Vote too early on the one who lives? Trying to save your scumbuddy. So the late lock-in vote in itself feels consistent with scum motives to me. It also avoids the necessity of engaging with the incorrect votes on ShadowFacts at all.

Verdict: slight scum read

Devil’s Advocate: scum don’t like to change votes around scum lynches if they don’t have to; it stands out and not in a good way. Hirka pretty much sealed his fate as a suspect here, given Shadow’s flip. He probably would have done better to stick the shiv in Red, if he is scum.

Hirka going back to Shadow on this day after ignoring him the previous day is not in his favor. I have a vague sense that his approach to Shadow doesn’t add up at all over time, but I need to look at the particular posts to be sure.

Verdict: Not sure. Want to look at Hirka’s posts about Shadow as a group.

Verdict: Yeah, pretty much.

And now, his posts.

Announcing how he’s feeling = Acting. And not very good acting at that.

Accepting blame easily = A way of deflecting criticism before it starts.

Self-conscious… a little TOO self-conscious.

Acts like he’s never heard of “The Revengening” which was a game I hosted.

Why are you distorting the facts, o scum Lord Astral?

Giving excuses for not participating sooner. Hiding behind roleplay is scummy.

Baseless finger-pointing. How typical of scum.

Encouraging roleplay, but hasn’t even bothered to vote for anyone yet. Where are your priorities man? :dubious:

Who’s that, your scum buddy?

You’re great pals, aren’t you? Maybe that’s why you never vote for him.

This is an obvious lie.

THE LORDS OF SLAUGHTER ARE NOT ALL DEAD YET.

I just want to note for the record that Astral was BLATANTLY lying here.

Oh? What did you talk about? Were you **fishing **to see if she had read her role PM? Scum.

Yeah, with a TOWNIE leading the lynch, just like you wanted.

**YOU KILLED KELLY. FoS: Astral Rejection.

**

You say he’s been killed, but neglect to say by whom.

You’re obviously covering for your scumbuddy, admit it.

**
FOS WEEDY**- How come Romanic got the first class treatment? Must be scum.

Is this some kind of crack about my name? Ad hominems.

Hanging around near the deadline = scummy
Keeping a close eye on the tally = scummy
Septimus wasn’t even lynched. But you knew that was going to happen, didn’t ya?

FOS: The Mayor of Town.

He doesn’t sound very “Town” to me.

How do I know you didn’t switch the dice on me? Cheater.

MORE excuses for not voting? Typical. Why are you so nervous, Astral?

POSTING FROM PHONE = SCUMMY SCUMMY SCUMMY!!!

No one could possibly be so interested in their own game that they’ll do the writeups via phone. You’re hiding something.

I bet that’s not even an accurate tally. Where are all the other votes? How come septimus was in third place, huh? Don’t want your scum buddy to DIE, eh???

Are you threatening me?

You’d LIKE THAT wouldn’t you!!!

Vote: Astral Rejection

You just admitted you could transform us into hedonistic rednecks. That’s not a pro-town power role I’ve ever heard of.

Pretending not to know if anyone got murdered or not. Obvious acting.

I’ve had enough of this.

**Vote: Astral Rejection

Lock.**[/spoiler]

For obvious reasons.

LOL.

Heh, and I thought you weren’t a Player Character? Caught you in another lie. NPCs should be sleeping. What were you doing at night, Lord of Astraulghter?

You just admitted to being scum.

Also,
Vote: Astral
Vote: Astral
since Pizza owns my soul and everything.

I laughed so very, very hard at that. That was AWESOME, Pizza!

OK, I’m losing my mind. The multiquote function has completely screwed up on me and I am unable to get the posts I want to quote quoted properly. I literally cannot figure out how to grab his first substantive post of day two. Whenever I try I’m getting everything but that. Really pissed off.

I guess I hvae to do it the hard way. This is post 820 from Hirka.

The Lightfoot thing actually reads as town to me. Scum don’t often go in for such levels of paranoia against a townie. Following my case on Shadow is fine, if convenient. Of interest, however, is that Septimus had as many votes as ATPG does at this point, and is not mentioned by Hirka.

holy freakin’ crap!

Vote Astral Rejection for being scummy scum.

Vote Astral Rejection again!

Lock and load that!
