It didn’t match Kelly’s: He is an ‘NPC Townsperson’, and you are a ‘Mage’.
And what difference would it have made in any case whether or not they match? We’d just gotten finished with a long discussion about handshakes, and the fact that the PMs are not identical in order to help prevent them. So the fact that your PM and **Kelly’s **matched or did not match in any way, should have been of no consequence whatsoever.
What possible reason do you think gender might make a difference?
No, you are the ‘Mage’. **Kelly **is the ‘NPC Townsperson’. If either of you were controlled my the DM, it would be him, not you.
At this point, I’m not sure if you’re confused about RPG terminology, or if you are having trouble because you edited your PM before posting it and can’t keep your story straight.
I’m NPC/vanilla, class “shaman”, and you are all potentially in the process of outing yourselves as well as vanilla or not, based on not realizing that such “roles” are possible. I can only hope that some of you arguing here are scum, that Kelly’s claim as an actual “NPC townsperson” is also common among vanillas, or that some of you are vanillas with more vanilla-sounding titles than “mage” or “shaman”, like “farmer” or “traveler” or whatever.
Now please stop talking about Jan’s claim before you erase any of those possible distinctions that are left; claiming myself has given me hives and I’m going to itch for days.
And might I suggest that any further vanilla claims that might come in future from townies LIE about things like the above, so as to confound the scum in their guessing games as much as is still possible.

Class: Shaman
Alignment: Defenders of De’endee
Powers: None.
Role: NPC
Win Condition: You win when all threats to the Defenders of De’endee are vanquished and at least one member of the Defenders of De’endee is still alive.

Never discuss the fine details of vanilla claims. Never.
I just felt that the accusation of Koldanar just posting to be saying something rang true givent the content of Koldanar’s posts. His posts have been better since then, but that could be because he got called on it.
I will not be around at the end of Day, so I am going to go ahead and cast another vote
Vote Silver Jan
I feel her confusion has more probability of being being caused by her being scum than Kelly’s. I am not really opposed to a Kelly lynch, though, since as someone else said, he will continue to receive suspicion if he does survive, so it might be best to go ahead and eliminate him (though at this point, I think the same argument applies to Silver Jan).
Holy cow… Just got home from work and trying to quickly read through today before I go to dinner since the Day will end before I get back. I see I was also mistaken about the Double Vote mechanic and didn’t realize it will only lock in if your votes are for the same player. That DOES change things a lot and I see that I’m not the only one who thought that.
I was also initially pinged by **Romanic’s **first post confirming. When he said “working on a mod to change it” I thought he was referencing the game’s moderators (as in he was trying to get Astral to change that rule or something) and not a game mod. I got that it was a joke, but I interpreted it to be a joke about him being upset that he wouldn’t be able to level up past 5 which would indicate a power role (or possibly scum).
**askthepizzaguy **was confusing the hell out of me at first too, but I see where he’s coming from now. And although I’m not convinced he’s town, I believe he’s playing within his own pre-established methods.
**Kelly’s ** bungled attempt at a handshake will lead me to join the others of you with a
vote KellyCriterion.
At worst this is an attempt to identify other Vanilla Townies which we’ve seen before can be disastrous for Power Roles. Especially when the Mods have specifically said they have attempted to nullify the possibility of a successful handshake.
And lastly, poor **SilverJan **. I have a hard time keeping track of her votes, unvotes, reasons, unreasons and mitigating side notes. I have a suspicion that this is a nervous first time Scum who wants to appear helpful to the town, but is doing too much. The role PM she posted doesn’t help matters much either. So since I won’t be back before Dusk:
If you can’t make a case against Koldanar, then why are you voting for him? You already had a vote down on pedescribe, so you there’s no way you “had to” vote again…
I must be so bad at this game as scum I survived So we aren’t really looking for scum, well never mind, when I am MISLYNCHED you will know I am Town does Town really want to mislynch me? apparentl so, you will have to live with it. So we really aren’t looking for scum just some silly little Grandma that sometimes “feels” scum If I am voted off you need too look towards yourselves.
I did make the cardinal sin of posting as I was catching up with the thread, and placed that vote before I saw **Normal’s **Post 425. I’m still considering whether or not I wish to change my vote at this point, because that’s not the only piece of Silver Jan’s behavior that is bothering me.
I found this in a tab somewhere. I obviously meant to post it a long time ago.I don’t think it’s very relevant, but there it is anyway:

I understand what you're saying here, but I think it was pretty clear what the rules meant, and that you currently have votes locked in for **KellyCriterion **and **septimus**.
And I think you knew that before you asked the question.

That's the understanding that I had.
And I'm content with those 2 votes.
However, I wanted to be certain.
