Trying to jog my memory–I recall reading a piece on an artist who draws unsettlingly gorgeous & accurate pictures of beetles who have deformed wingcases because of pollutants in the area. I thought I saw this in the New York Times Magazine but a search on their website didn’t turn it up. Anyone remember the name of the artis t& have a reference to the article in question (which reproduced several of the paintings)?
