Kenan Thompson. And yes, they need to keep that routine around.
They’ve done a segment on Project 2025 every single night of the convention. They’re putting it front and center. < Whew >
From SNL.
Seeing Walz’ wife and kids bawling their eyes out when Dad was introduced was almost more than I could handle.
Thank you!
Now let’s go Walz. I hope he picks in Vance more than Trump.
Ditto!
“Mind your own damn business!”
Love it!
They’re bawling through everything! I love this family!
Gus is amazing!
ETA: I just love listening to Tim. His cadence. His voice. His passion. He’s so damn charismatic and natural up there.
While other states were banishing books in their schools we were banishing hunger from ours.
Love his rendition of the Republican definition of freedom.
And then the Democrats’ definition of freedom.
This is great!
He’s exclaiming “That’s my dad!!!”
Now he’s addressing Project 2025. “When somebody takes the time to draw up a playbook, they’re gonna use it.”
Spoken like a true coach.
I was worried that the gentle laid-back Walz might be overshadowed by the energy of some of the previous speakers. I worry no more as I watch his incredible performance.
Okay, his football team talk gave me goosebumps.
And I don’t really understand football.
Not to mention humble. This is about as far from Trump (“me, me, me!”) as you can get. If this is what Walz is like, imagine what Harris will be like tomorrow.
Fuck that was great.
Walz brings to his performance the reality that you can be energetic without looking deranged AND be sensible and stable without looking lethargic.
“I haven’t given many big speeches like this but have given a lot of team pep talks”
OK, extended football metaphor, we have the ball and are down a field goal. Time to push, there’ll be time to sleep when you’re dead.
Oh yes, got it done.
That needs to be a bumper sticker MYODB.
I want one of those Walz heads.
Good lord that was awesome
