Denver Doper Debauch Deux

Due to popular demand, there will be a second, short-notice get together this Saturday, May 20th.

The location: The Avalanche Grill at Peoria and Arapahoe Road. Maps with driving directions will be provided upon request.

Time: 7 PM. That’s 1900 hours. On Saturday, Athena.

Ordinarily, I would be there earlier, but I will be flying back to Denver from Portland, and don’t even get off the plane till 6 PM.

The grill is on top of the Family Sports center. There’s Ice Skating, an arcade, a climbing wall, miniature golf, a driving range, and laser tag. Not to mention a first rate bar and grill.

Of course, if it turns out to be slow there, there are a number of alternate locations that we could move to.

In fact, since I will likely not be able to access the web while I am out of town, SingleDad has directions to the place. Please coordinate amongst yourselves. Rest assured, I will be there, and I will be ready to throw down some brew.

bumpa bumpa

We liked each other so much, we couldn’t wait to see one another again.

Santi has been emailed, he may be able to make it but is not sure…

Side note:

Ran into one of my AOL Colorado Room Roomies at the grocery store, they are sad that I haven’t been in the chat room or been to AOL parties. Guess my SDMB friends have taken over my cyber life

Bravo on the location choice!!! It’s about a 5 minute drive from my house. Count me in!

PS. Can I bring my son? He’s 3 years old. He loves the arcade.

Hey, I have no complaints at all about kids coming. There’s plenty for them to do there, no question about it.

Anyone else have opinions?

Can’t let this drift onto page 2.

bump

bump even if I won’t be making the drive. It is now SNOWING again, by criminy.

Maybe someday I’ll attend a doper bash; like when I crest 100 posts. 2001?

See y’all Saturday!

Okay, this time I am smart!

I reserved a hotel room

This way I don’t spill beer on a Dopers carpet, I don’t drink while driving (I will drink while driving hehe) and I get two noble and incredibly sweet men driving me to my hotel.

ROFL

Forgot!

How 'bout a late breakfast on Sunday?

There’s Gunther Toodys right across from where I am staying. Not the most elegant, but decent food for a diner. They do serve breakfast don’t they?

Did they close it? I looked on US West’s site…no listing on Arapahoe :frowning:
