There’s also been a (reasonably progressive with odd blips) march of democracy and sanity for the last 3-4 hundred years, driving the sort of behaviour of the past several thousands of years away from the centres of civilization and even penetrating the hinterlands- except when the “superpowers” decide to step in and fuck things up, or other, lesser powers decide they want to play that game too.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised at all that he types his screeds one-handed.
I don’t get why anyone tries to seriously engage him. In a thread about the U.S. with 50 posts, 10 will be from Der Trihs, of which 9 will be about how terrible the U.S. is (the tenth will be an off-topic comment about how terrible religion is).
I agree with him on numerous issues, but I hope I get never get as Alzheimery-repetitive as him.

But it’s much better than your ability to stay seated. The fact that the US has non-nuclear allies changes the fact that France and other allies do have nuclear weapons how? Did he write that “every single one of the US’s allies have nuclear weapons” or just that our allies do? If the latter, then he was factually correct, and you should remain seated.
