Was looking for some pics of the Mods to photoshop into trading cards, but couldn’t find any. Looking in all the wrong places perhaps? Any Mods want to offer their pics for us to do cards of?
In the case of multiple types, the most powerful type is listed. Do we have any cases in which an admin is not also a mod, or in which a mod is not also a poster? If not, then “mod” subsumes “poster”, and “admin” subsumes both “mod” and “poster”. So anything that affects all posters will affect mods and admins as well, although they may have specific abilities to overcome the effects.
Example:
Lynn the Merciless
Poster Type: Admin
Attack/Defense: 8/8
Card Art: An image of Lynn seated on an iron throne (with comfy cushions and footrest, of course), wielding the Sceptre of Zot.
When Lynn comes into play, each player must sacrifice a Chocolate Token, or have one poster card banned (removed from play). If the player has no posters in play, there is no effect.
Zot: Tap to ban one poster for each moderator in play (including herself).
Delegate: Tap one moderator to untap Lynn the Merciless.
See, if you have Lynn in play, then play Eutychus the Self-Effacing, she will be tapped. However, you could then tap Euty to untap Lynn. That would allow you to ban one extra poster this turn.
If we can get mtgman in here, we’ll have the rules knocked out in no time.

Hampsters
Poster Type: Unique Artifact
Attack/Defense: 2/2
Card Art: Catatonic Hampsters with blisters on their feet rolling in a wheel over frustrated dopers in front of computer screens that state that the SDMB is down.
Between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM (EST) gains +1/+1, cannot be played between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM (EST).
Gains 10/10 trample if player who summons Hampsters has a Jdavis card already in play.
If Hacker is summoned while Hampsters is in play Hampsters must be removed from game and cannot be used again for one month. All players lose amount of health equivalent to all health gained in all games they have played in previous month and a half.

Attack/Defense: 10/-1 (there ain’t no defense for these folk, y’know?)
When put into play all forums phase out.
Player who brings Hacker into play must submit self to ridicule from all other players and whack his/herself in head with an iron skillet. Hard. Repeatedly.
*Yes I know that some people claim that hackers are noble and crackers are malevolent but I’m using the common man definition. No hard feelings.
Yes. Ed Zotti is an administrator, but not a moderator. The same is true for jdavis (upon him be peace) and a number of other Reader staff who hardly ever show up here.
OK, so noted. As it seems to be the exception, rather than the rule, we’ll just note that they’re immune to mod-targeting effects. Of course, the mention of Ed sheds a whole new light on Lynn’s “Wand of Zot” in my above post. Perhaps she should be armed with something else…
