Desperate Housewives 1/14

Again, from the always-wonderful Television without Pity recaps:

I’m creeped out more by Zack’s hair than by his secret admirer activities.

What do you bet that Nora’s daughter will do something to hurt business at the pizzeria?

Those teeth…urrrrghh!

Given the choice between gabby and Julie, if you were a horny yet fabulously wealthy teenager, which one would you choose?

Not justyou. The rest of us have been saying it for months.

Tom and Lynette are my favorite couple on the show (which, really, isn’t saying all that much) but as a family I can’t stand them. Lynette is a terrible mother (but at least she knows she’s a terrible mother, usually) and Tom is a nothing dad who at least this season has the excuse of working on the restaurant. And I want to know what’s happened to Penny? Did Art slip her into a suitcase when he moved? Did they accidentally pack her away with the Christmas decorations? Has Alma been collecting baby teeth?

Any minute now Patty Duke is gonna snatch that off his head and drop it in the toilet.

Zach: “So. They threw ya outta modeling and ya come crawlin’ back to Wisteria Lane. Well, Wisteria Lane doesn’t go for booze and dope.”

:smack: Thank you. That is much better.

It’s times like these I want to suggest that we form an act and take it on the roade. Except that I’m afraid you’ll want to be Gus Visser and you’ll make me be the duck.

BTW, I am putting in my prediction now that TWoP will refer to Zack’s hair at least once as “Zana-do.”

Honey, in a Queen-off between the two of us, it would be a mascara-spattered battle to the death.

Is it just me or does the actress who plays Julie have a severe underbite? She had braces, didn’t she?

Why anyone would cry over so-not-hot Austin is beyond me. Ick.

Zach was creepy enough without the Farrah hair.

Can someone refresh my memory as to why Zach turned on his dad? I remember Paul Young being framed by Felicia, and Zach kind of turning his back on him, but I forgot the reason for this. Was it because he found out Mary Alice killed his real mom and dad covered this up?

Also, the crazy Youngs were a couple of my favorite characters, it’s nice to see them back.

That was an awfully helpful prison guard…nipping the Paul Young plot in the bud.

Why do I get the creepy feeling that Zach is going to end up killing (or worse, disfiguring) Gabby?

I don’t think they’d kill Gaby. How about kidnap?

jsgoddess:

Wishful thinking, then. I don’t think I’ve ever had so little sympathy for a fictional character who was not an actual murderer in all my years reading and viewing.
