My guess is that the notepaper will be revealed as Mrs Hubert’s. Edie merely tore off a piece when she was in a hurry to get out of the house (which would fit in with her casual taking of anything in the house).
I originally thought the crazy taxidermist guy mentioned at the Edie/Mike/Susan/Julie dinner party was the blackmailer. It seemed there for a reason.
