Desperate Housewives 5/15---spoilers

I’m not sure about that. Weren’t they discussing opening at different firms, naming them as well? Wasn’t this the same woman Lynette hinted to about all the travelling that the Duggan promotion would entail, and how she hoped Tom wouldn’t regret missing out on seeing the kids grow up? Besides, I think Lynette and Tom used to work together, although I don’t think it’s been established that the place he’s working at now is the place where they met.

I am just so tickled that Alfre Woodard is joining the cast! My interest in this show was beginning to wane, but I will watch anything that Alfre Woodard is in. She’s one of the most talented folks ever to come from my hometown.

Nope, it was an entirely different woman. Last night was someone she knew from a competing firm. The previous episode was the boss’s wife.

I have to wonder about Alfre Woodard. I’d love to see her on the show. But according to today’s NBC release, she’s going to be on their new fall schedule, not Wisteria Lane.

Wow, that sure was a fast sale, move out and move in. That must be some sort of world record closing.

She’s evidently in the pilot of “Inconceivable,” but plans may be changing:

“INCONCEIVABLE is the title (and easy target for smart-alecky TV critics) for an unlikely drama about the goings-on in a fertility clinic. ER’s Ming Na is the star, and Alfre Woodard was supposed to be a member of the cast (she’s in the pilot), but she has now joined the cast of Desperate Housewives, so new additions to the cast are expected before the Fall.”

Well, they could have had some sort of deal whereby they could stay in the house after closing. My parents just sold their house and moved into a condo, and they worked it so they could stay in the house for two weeks after closing the house (and pay rent) because the condo took that much longer to close.

Well, since she has four Emmy’s, I don’t think she is being overlooked…

(I knew about the one for Hill Street Blues, just learned about the others.)

Ya think it might be a highlight of next week?

Highlight? It’s gonna be cause for a divorce filing!
Or maybe just Tom will just borrow Rex’s gear and torture Lynette in a secret room off the garage.

I’ve been thinking about this since the episode aired. I would get a divorce over this. Who’s with me?

I think she had good intentions so it would be more of a serious discussion. But yeah - I was astounded and friggin ANGRY for Tom - and pissed at Lynette.

I’m excited about Alfre too - this should be good and she’ll add a nice dynamic. Some of my friends are worried that she’ll detract from the other storylines - but I disagree totally!

Obviously, she will bring her own share of scandal/secrets/strange habits/alternate skin color to Wysteria…

I had been assuming that Rex’s strange, undiagnosable condition was the result of George’s giving him the wrong medication for quite some time. His doctor said tonight that his body wasn’t responding to it properly, and wanted another doctor to consult.

So what was the deal with George slipping into the house and switching pills? Putting the right meds back to keep the blame from falling on himself?

And did anyone else wonder how he got in so easily?
